Siza is brilliant! First properly discovered his works after watching him talk in a symposium! Love the attention to the formulation for interactions. Land to building, building to sea and building to people!
You mean watching him smoke? Lol. You know there is a documentary called “Having a cigarette with Alvaro Siza”?
@@Archimarathon I did not, but yes! He did smoke during the talk. Lol. He won’t even travel anywhere he can’t smoke for a prolonged time.
He was UNDER 30 for both of these projects?!? Nuts!

It's wonderful to imagine that Siza designed and built these marvels so young. They got balls in Portugal! In Belgium too it would be difficult to do a project like that (well, we don't have a real "seaside" with wild rocks anyway) :D
I think it´s impossible in many parts of the world. Regulations have changed a lot, mainly because city councils try to avoid being sued
I know you have seen the original ones on Instagram but the YT version is slightly longer dialogue not included in the short form. @gabybordino6024
@@Archimarathon I love this format for UA-cam, plus I find really interesting to see both of you, not just visiting but "using" the places you show, like the sauna episode. Very enjoyable
