Most socar nowadays have fuel card failed due to outstanding payment.
We recently rent a Altis to east coast but the car that we received was bad condition. No multimedia player cause rosak and the inside also very 👎 worse is the tyre so bloody noisy i suspect is retreat tyre and the back triangle widow got a gap on highway so noisy. Please Socar do your maintenance if you are really into Car rental business.

Hi I wanted to find out can I travel from kl to Penang by, can I spend as much as petrol as I like or is there a limit, and how also can I do as many miles also, another thing I am from the uk and I will be comming to Malaysia soon can I use my uk debit card to use the app or do I can I only use if I have Malaysian card?
Mike55 Hi, yes you can drive the socar from kl to penang but you still need to drive back to kl to return the socar to the original spot. I believe penang has socar too so do keep that in mind. I’m not so sure about the uk debit cards, although i dont think it should be a problem but you might need to contact them to make sure. Jason Arvin You can’t. You have to return the car to Location A because someone might have booked it after you. You might want to just book a Grab instead.

Vbinti raj yes the app also utilises bluetooth just in case there is bad mobile signal. But I’m not sure if you can use it if there is TOTALLY no mobile signal. Do DM socar to make sure :)
Maybe you can ask for plastic membership card when you register so car. I sometimes use plastic card in my country.

Aliff Flanker hi, currently socar charges RM0.25/KM for their milage charge, you can refer to their blog for this info. So if you are driving long distance, example 140KM. Then the first 40KM is free then the next 100KM is charged 100KM x RM0.25 = RM25 additional charge

Hi, if we click cancel, the money will be refunded back to us or not ?. And can we book the car month earlier ? Because i've read many negative feedbacks 🤔
Nur Afrina Syazwani for cancellations, it will only be refunded to you if you cancel before 3 hours notice. Otherwise there will be charges. You can check the full details in “HELP” section of their app 😄 As I know, you can book it one month earlier but not more than that. But I’ve never had any experience on that so I can’t say much on that topic. Hope this helps!
