Constructive criticism from a Bravo fan: Next recap on VPR, please have someone who has watched all 10 seasons on the show to discuss. This is extremely frustrating to listen to with people who have such strong opinions based on 10% of the full story, behaviors of cast & season history. The dissection of characters based on one season & production POV on every scene being discussed… is getting boring. Homework: watch all VPR before reunion! Pleaseeee It’s like me giving my POV about the super-bowl without knowing shit about the team, players & history.
Right! I hate how they are riding so hard for Katie and saying Ariana is Switzerland. They don’t get the dynamics of this group unless you watched all season. Katie and Ariana were not friends until the last three seasons they started building a relationship.
This is why you need to watch the entire show from the beginning! The majority of things you're confused and wondering about have been addressed in past seasons.
It’s frustrating hearing Nick’s perspective as someone who hasn’t watched from the beginning. It sounded very pretentious how he was talking about Ariana not picking a side with Raquel and Katie, but if he had watched the show, he would know that this version of Raquel is not the version that everyone became friends with, she was a meek underdog who hadn’t done anything bad to anyone.. that obviously changed drastically, but that’s why Ariana was friends with her. I understand how watching season 10 as an isolated event could be viewed that way, but it’s also revisionist history or whatever.

Talking about personal development Gabby really has come into her own... She's incredibly quick-witted and articulate .... I love to see her as a regular guest especially with this Vanderpump Rules recapping; as I love her insights and it's not just the typical stuff regurgitated all over the internet from other commentators... She seems to look at it from all the angles including producer input .... BTW she is all class and very much presents that way also
It started with Scheanna and Brandi Glanville. Scheana was having an affair with Eddie Cipriane. Brandi came into SUR and started a fight with Scheanna. So, then they wrote VPR.
Scheana was the beginning of the show. She was the bridge between RHOBH & VPR. She had an affair when she was 21 with Brandi husband at the time and was confronted on RHOBH & the cameras continued to follow her into the restaurant for VPR. Lala, Ariana & James were not part of the OG cast. Though Ariana was in the background as she was Scheana’s friend.
Ariana & Raquel WERE friends off camera. & she was always against the bully gang up type of behaviour Katie and alot of the ex cast used to participate in so she often took up for Raquel & anyone really that was on the outside. Most of them have a good season, this one happens to be Katie’s.
Raquel also took the dog away from James and doesn’t let him see it so how can she sit there and tell Katie it’s mean to threaten to not let Schwartz see their dogs?? 🤦♀️ Zero self awareness

The producers had nothing to do with making Rachel confront Katie. That was all Sandoval who thought it was hot when Rachel came to Lala’s birthday uninvited.
Katie Maloney confirmed that she actually didn’t buy that from that store. So apparently she already had it. Was it a gift from Tom and she didn’t want anyone to know that?
The point of Raquel asking the sex life and whether Ariana finds Sandoval attractive etc is because Sandoval most likely fed Raquel a narrative that his relationship is going to end etc so that Raquel will agree to go on with their affair

Watching all 10 seasons it seems like Ariana followed Sandoval’s lead on who was in the group and out of the group. Seems she did this with everyone but Katie. And the trend was if a cast member had a strong confident personality, Sandoval was at odds with them. James had a strong personality but he was polarizing so Sandoval was happy to take him under his wing.
Apparently someone did say to Raquel off camera wtf are you doing?! You’re going to look so bad and look like she lacks empathy. And then right after she apologized to Katie saying I do have empathy lol this was one of their friends who’s not on the show that talked about it on one of the vanderpump podcasts.
