There was an agreement reached with Vice Admiral Carlos on the delivery of supplies to that old junk vessel in Jan 2023. The Filipinos, under the instruction of the US, cancelled the agreement suddenly and Vice Admiral Carlos was told to disappear to avoid to be called upon as a witness of the agreement Since the Filipinos are untrust worthy so China as a super power decided to take decided action against the Filipinos that thought the US would come and start a nuclear war with China for the Filipinos. China is never afraid of the US Navy as China has more warships than the US Navy.

The situation requires more drastic action.
Filipinos just always "cry baby" to any incidents every time they encounter with the aggressive Chinese. This is the long-standing ramification for the neglect of the Filipino government's priority to invest in their own military or armed forces development, including the vital Philippine Coast Guard.
There will be more like this type of incident that will happen. In the near future. The Philippines can not just rely on its alliance with the United States of America's assistance. Because the alliances agreement speaks only for a major invasion or occupations by China 🇨🇳.
And with regards to this matter, the Filipinos themselves had to be the sole responsible entity to resolve nor make a solution by, first of all, modernize their equipments such as fast attack boats, bigger and better coast guard ships and cutters, destroyers, and frigates including but not on the least aircrafts and submarines.
Philippines 🇵🇭 has just been lacking behind with its own military modernization. And if we can see presently, the Philippines only has very small modern ships and aircraft to deploy. What a shame to its own government in the past and the current administration.
This is a reality since the Chinese modernize and invested heavily on its own military prowess, of course, to counter the US, and most of all, in its own self-determination and vitalization.
It is a laughing stock to see politicians in Congress and the Senate debating and giving their own opinions on these delicate national security matters, arguing, giving their own views and opinions, but never get united to pass a major defense bill (budget) to purchase modern weapons. And when an incident like this in South China Sea, the country just felt like a "crying-baby" and can't do anything but to watch what's gonna happen.
And lately, I saw the Senate president Mr Escudero, suggested that he would like to bring this matter to the ASEAN group of nations. Well, first of all, yes, you can do that, and the attention of all the member nations will be upon you. But the releasing a major United front against or to counter China, I don't think it will work Mr Escudero. Why?
Even, China 🇨🇳 themselves ignored the UNCLOS decisions many years ago filed and won by the Philippine government. How much more your ASEAN dreams to bring it over to them. Well, diplomatically, there will be a little small effect that it can do, but on a major scale to change the geographical view of China, won't have any impact to them.
Philippines 🇵🇭 learn your lesson and how the geo politics have changed more than a decade ago.
And if Philippines 🇵🇭 will not invest money to modernize its own military hardwares, China will keep on managing its interest in the areas of the South China Sea, and thst includes the most worrisome of incursion to the Philippines 🇵🇭 exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
