Once again Karma you've done a fantastic job with these new videos!!! These are the BEST Arma 3 videos going!! Every one of them is totally gripping and fascinating because of the detail and reality of the tactics! Awesome job man!! You and the Whole Karma comany team are some of the best!!!
Before I say anything: I do respect effort and commitment you have put into puting all this together. And still, I want to point out that you have not needed all reconnaissance and fire support element you have used in this operation. I encourage you to try and solve - if only in your head - this task with just your infantry platoon and it's organic firepower and observation capabilities.
That's some quality gameplay here, damn I wish I had a good computer rn, I really miss arma 3 ! and it would be interesting to see at some point some symetrical warfare a bit! Could be interesting to see the tactics you need to employ in this case.
I think it'd be cool to see you guys do this kind of stuff with the Halo and the WH40k mods. I've always wanted to see a realism unit do one of those mods
I've been watching these videos quite closely and analizing the tactics so i can learn more for my comic. Keep doing these,Karma. What i'd like to know is how do the callsigns work? Like Karma 1-1,Karma 1-2,are they on an individual soldier basis or squad level?
For special operations units like these guys everyone probably has a personal radio, so those call signs are probably down to the individual During my Afghanistan deployment everyone on my team carried a radio. My callsign was Lima 3-3 Lima was the name of our detachment, I was on team 3, hence Lima-3. Team leader was Lima 3-0, Team chief was Lima 3-1, and the rest of the team was numbered off by seniority. This was nice because anytime someone jumped in the radio you immediately knew who it was, if a 0 was on the line, it was the TL. If Lima 2-2 got on, it was team 2’s JTAC, etc Some teams would do the first letter of your last name, so your callsign would be Lima 3-Sierra if your last name was Smith and you were in team 3. Regardless not to get ahead of myself but I believe these callsigns are down to the individual.
@@Blexg thank you for your information. The members of my taskforce are numbered by the squad-unit number format, like, for example: Silver 1-1,Silver 1-2,Silver 1-3,Silver 1-4,Silver 2-1 and so on.
@@Blexg Our callsigns are at the squad level for the most part. 1-6 through 1-9 are individuals, 1-1 through 1-4 are line squads, Mortars and SNOT are just called that. Each air asset has it's own callsign as well
Hi Karma how often do you guys do milsim events? And if so what day, I'm interested in joining as a vip on discord once I move in my new house. Awesome stuff and cheers!
I was banned from your discord for getting my account hacked and having it mass post a nitro scam to all my servers and friends, I've tried to look on your website and Reddit for a way to appeal and there's nothing mentioned. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it
Its modded arma, so a little of both. I think its mostly YT not liking videos that are visually dark + the NVG mod they're using recreates how grainy IRL NVGs can be.
The term "fair fight" has long since left the game. Question: Do you have any restrictions on how you use CAS and the eye in the sky? Or in other words, does the enemy stand a chance to begin with seeing as how they might as well have been nuked before you moved in? Does the cost of using CAS affect your long term operations? Or is it just "for this one you have the littlebird, A-10 and a deorbited asteroid" without any effect for upcoming engagements? There's three things i would like to see/know. 1) Using CAS is expensive, effective most of the time but expensive none-the-less. That's resources that you won't replenish in a heartbeat and if you focus on replenishing your CAS resources, you will have to neglect something else. It can also affect your operations from a political standpoint. Using big toys that cost a lot of money might make some politicians jealous or concerned about the economics. And so they might steer opinions and make decisions that could end up losing you the whole OP. 2) Using CAS leaves you open to public outcry from both sides of the conflict, they will claim you don't care about collateral damage and furthermore, obliterating whole houses leaves the previous inhabitants homeless and any potential future would-be inhabitants still looking for a home. 3) Using CAS, or in fact any valuable asset, comes with a risk. The risk of it being shot down and destroyed. All it takes is a well timed stinger missile or an AA turret that wasn't accounted for. It's a huge loss for the future planning of the operation that relied heavily on the availability of that asset that is now no longer available. But it's also a great hit to your own morale while the enemy gains a huge boost to theirs as they rush the wreck of the fallen asset and strip it for copper to sell. ... In any case, great videos. But in operations like these, it feels like watching a 20 minute long killstreak award. Too much air support that wasn't even needed to get the result.
@@vanjastec3160 Its scalable. There's mods and stuff to give fine control of how "good" they are. But it is at the end of the day 10y old AND its arma, so its got significant limits. They won't do call of duty style close quarters battle, but for open spaces like this, they're pretty okay.
High quality as usual, nice work. But i just wanna add that this kinda operations are very last decade. In this decade and probably in the next conventional warfare will be more common than this unconventional. I get why is this fun. When you have superior equipment you can do things right and basicly have no real casulties. Everybody involved can be the part of the operation as long as it plays out. Mostly. But what is realy interest me is how would you guys solve problems that are actual, by that i mean a problem of our present time. Shooting sandal peoples is fun and all, but not gonna realy help if you per say get drafted for a war. Like you know that thing can happen, and you not gonna get drafted for sandal peoples. They have contract peoples for that job. Drafting only cames when you have to face against a conventional foe. So yeah probably aint gonna happen, we hope, but if it will, this kinda tactics are a no go. Its gonna get you killed. This why i am intrested in how you and your bodies would solve problems that are common in ukraine per say. Entrenched positions with overlaping killzones, ATGM, SAM, almost every squad has nvision or thermal, drones, quick arty strikes etc... you probably know what im talking about if you follow the war. So have you considered making a scenario that is convetnional?
an authentic LSCO platoon-sized operation would be incredibly boring imo (sit back and use drones for IDF), and many of the existing mission sets would just disappear. current warfare is trending to large defensive lines, with massed IDF. an operation like this would be, us sitting back as HIMARS or arty demolished the grid square ahead of us. it would be both boring to watch and boring to play. there is the potential for small raids and ambushes but i imagine those would be executed somewhat similarily to how we do them now, aside from no rotary assets to assist.
@@karmakut Tnx for the anwser. You're right mostly, wellp maybe cold war scenario then? I dont wanna push you just what you do is remind of the good old shacktac when they did pvp and they had some intresting conventional battle. It would be intresting to see two mech company slugging it out or WW2 thats a fun one as well and very rarerly been done by 200 player in a one life event. Even odds are fun, but that maybe just me.
You yanks have very strange radio procedure. “Copy” “pax” “pos”. Canadian equivalent: “acknowledged” “passengers/dismounts” “position” lol. That’s my gripe. Great job otherwise.
Kinda boring imo because no close battles, engaging from far away and expending overwhelming amounts of ammo with air support is realistic but not as interesting as close quarters infantry.
I cant get enough of these cinematic takes on the Ops. The intro animations make it all the better!. Keep it up!!
Thank you for the effort and time you put in those projects to make this high quality content for us!
It’d be cool to see the format of the platoon to see what roles and how squads are organized
These kind of ops are what made and keep Arma being an absolute miracle of a video game.
without a doubt

i have a good pc and arma 3 still runs like dookie, just have fun on the game
Great leadership and composure from the squad leaders here!!
i am in love with this series, well done
It must really suck being assaulted like that. Hell from above and a storm below. Great to watch!
I can't help but find it crazy that your position could be broadcast to the entire enemy platoon without you knowing it.
Hell yeah, quick and clean, in and out!
I want to see one of these where you're on the insurgents side.
Thank you for your videos it really helps a lot and is very entertaining👍🏼
Yet another video crushing it. Great Job. It's awesome watching all the independent elements working together to satisfy one overarching objective. 🤤
LOVE THESE ARMA VIDEOS!! Sorry for shouting.
Please sir. Tell me how you make your intro animations. I can't get over how amazing they are
I would love to see some behind the scenes stuff from your Zeus, if possible
You deserve an award for all these years!
Very well put together dude.
When the fob gets named after you :')

What i'd like to know is how do the callsigns work? Like Karma 1-1,Karma 1-2,are they on an individual soldier basis or squad level?
In that particular case I believe it's squad level. The first number is the platoon and the second is the squad. So 1-2 is 1st Platoon 2nd Squad
For special operations units like these guys everyone probably has a personal radio, so those call signs are probably down to the individual

Hopefully u see this and can answer. Ready or not is not letting me open up the multi-player menu and i want to add more players.
Man, these are good!
What a fantastic video. I assume this campaign is PvE, right? As I don’t recall seeing footage from OPFOR.
This is cool as hell is this whole story campaign a mod like antistasi or is it made up
how can i join these operations
The soundtrack broke the immersion
Loving these edits, @karmakut. You a Premiere guy, or Final Cut?
Another great one. These are so good!
Play with/against Irish on UA-cam. Their CQB is impeccable.
Excuse ignorance but what is the name of the map they are playing?
Thanks in advance and nice video as usual
Will we get a campaign we're you are on the other team ?
What weapon mods are these??
They have 60mm mortar system?
Overkill
Back to a game you played 3 years ago and the video was called no man left behind I want to know what game that was and if it’s available on Xbox
its called "squad" and i dont believe its on xbox
@@yeoldenuggetmcree9463 thank you for the information
How did you get the atak chest mounted phone map ?
Wish I could recreate something similar to this in singleplayer
Are the 2042 portal mil sim servers still operational?
Howdy Karma! 🤠👋 🖤💛
Is there any way i can do what he is doing on xbox arma reforger if so pls help me understand how
tactical ara ara
It would be great if I could play with these mods
Hmm, there's no point in watching night vids if you're not in a dark room.

What mod you use for this thermals?
Which arma unit is this
What tracer mods are you guys using?
When a tactical play as the underdogs instead?
Sooo... I just thought I should ask if your profile picture is a first order stormtroopers helmet. I assumed it was but I just think it looks awesome.
I believe it's a rank symbol that's used as status in the forces.
