Some may see this song as an abusive relationship, or a divorce. I see it much different. Last Sept. my wife od 49 years passed away after a legenthy illiness. The final 2 years caring for her was very difficult. But mostly I remember all the good and fun times we had. I'm so greatfull for the years we had. And so blessed that she was the one with whom I got to dance.

They played this at my grandmother funeral. It was fave of all time.
This is the song I used to sing when people would ask me if I wished I had never been born. Lots of people asked me this who were torturing me because I was going through human trafficking at their hands. So I'd say to them "I'm glad I'm here because if I wasn't "I'd a had to miss the dance." :) And now that I'm alive I can sing the song freely :) still dancing. I also like the song "Life's A Dance"

This song makes me cry cuz my grandma passed a way almost two months ago and they played this song at her funreal
My Mom passed away almost 10 years ago and it feels just like yesterday to me. Breaks my heart to hear Wind Beneath my Wings by Bette Midler. I can listen, but don't even ask me to sing it and I am a pretty good karaoke singer. Don't go looking for me on America's Got Talent LOL, but I always get a lot of applause at karaoke events, but that is one song I am not capable of singing. I am sorry for your loss - it sucks doesn't it!!!!! One day you'll see her in heaven. Keep the faith!
My grandma passed 4 almost 5 years ago. I choke up everytime I sing this....but it always reminds me that it wouldn't hurt, if I wasn't blessed with the time I had with her.
