The fact that you were shamelessly admit if you were ever wrong which isn’t super often but The fact that you can do that is a very Underated quality in sports commentary.
He shouldn’t have been drafted that high. It was too much pressure with the wrong coach. Nagy was suppose to be the offensive QB genius and couldn’t develop Mitch. He always made it known that he did not want Trubisky and for some reason Mitch’s confidence is always in question.
Yeah, that's like saying a 5 year old is better than an infant at math. Yeah, the 5 year old can add 2+2, but is that rocket science (Mahomes or Rodgers in this analogy)?
His physical abilities are undeniable if only he could figure out how to play the position. Mitchell Trubisky went number 2 in the draft because of his arm talent and athleticism. How can you say he has a weak arm and brought nothing to the table? What are you? watching?
I get this. I was a pitcher my whole life but didn’t throw as hard as others at the college level once I got there. I embraced changing speeds and taking an effective finesse approach. That became part of my identity and I tend to make excuses for pitchers who can’t throw hard because of it. We’re all bias when we can relate.
Chad Pennington is a good example of being a successful QB with a subpar arm. When John Gruden had MVP Mitch in the rookie classroom discussing plays and he didn't know what a hard count was I knew Chicago was in trouble. The GMs decision to pick him in the draft set back the franchise 10 years. Trubisky lovers just can't accept the fact that he's a bust because he was picked so high in the draft. They have to learn and accept the fact that he's a bust. In the words of Jerry Glanville, "You know what the NFL stands for? Not For Long if you keep calling plays like that." For Trubisky, he's gotten enough chances to try to prove himself. This is Rick Mirer part 2 for the Bears. The frustrating part is watching Deshaun Watson play good football with less weapons than Trubisky. He's been sacked 28 times this year and he's still playing well.
Isn't it crazy how quickly things can change? Two years ago Matt Nagy won COTY, everyone was saying that he was the guy who was going to lead Chicago to the promised land, and now everyone is saying that he should be fired. Crazy.
Hey Zac, bears fan here, I appreciate the video and the attention towards Chicago. Could you make a video on QB's the bears could target next year, and/or head coaches? Thanks! Keep up the good work man
2018, we had a defense that you can argue was better than Legion of Boom. If you loose in the wildcard at home and score 14 points as an offensive minded coach. Not to mention we were 20th in yards per game for how many chances they got on offense with that defense... He should've been fired for that and not holding Cody Parkey accountable. Unreal how he has a job. He knew what what he was getting into with Mitch and still decided to run is KC offense instead of playing to his strengths. Feel like the O would've been more improved if they played best to his abilities. Also, wouldn't need to be saying this if Pace just stayed at 3 and picked Watson. Fucking idiots.
As a Packer fan, I am kind of hoping Mitch Trubisky plays in December. Definitely would result in a new GM, head coach, and quarterback in Chicago afterwards.
I feel bad for Trubisky. They drafted him way too high and expected him to be the franchise qb. We all knew he wasnt gonna be that good. Its like asking a 1st grader to do calculus and getting mad when they fail.
I do have to point out... while you say that you don't have a vendetta against him, yet you've complained more about him than you have much worse players and QBs who were left in even longer... I've also never seen you get so mad about a player who had as decent of a TD to INT ratio. Just saying, anyone with eyes that I've seen talk football has admitted that his main fault of his career is the people who coach him. I also see you making excuses for QBs who week after week are WAY worse than Trubisky, yet he's the one who has been given too many chances?
Bears give up how many points and you get this emotional about Trubisky?? Interesting. It would be like someone kept pointing out your hair lip or lisp and saying you will never ever be taken seriously as a football or sports analyst.
Could Trubisky benefit from going to a team like the Patriots, where they have a solid offensive line and coaches who aren't completely inept? Or is Mitch just too far gone?
Nick Foles can come out week after week and not score any points and throw a pick just about every week, Carson Wentz has been the embodiment of failure this season, but the man continues to see Trubisky as the worst qb playing rn and our biggest problem. I'm not with you on this one chief.
Dude, as a Bears fan everything about their offense is trash. Trubisky, bad. Foles, just as bad. O-line, trash. Running game, non existent. Play calling, a joke at best. Offense needs a complete overhaul from coaching staff to nearly every play.
@@AzureKite Because Nagy didn't think Howard was a good fit for his garbage offensive scheme. Then again, Howard was pointless anyway because Nagy hates running the ball and half the time forgets he even has runningbacks on the team. Trash coach with a trash scheme. He's basically just Marc Trestman 2.0.
Matt Nagy got the head coaching spot by telling The Bears that he could develop Mitch T. He needs to put together a game plan that puts the qb in a position to win.
Hey man, it's alright to get passionate. In this case, it definitely makes sense. These coaches, GMs, owners are supposed to be in charge of PROFESSIONAL football teams, and Mitch is garbage. It's mind-blowing how they cannot see that. As a Bears fan myself, it's even worse. It doesn't take a football genius to see this guy has not ever been cut out for the league. The Bears are embarrassing themselves by letting this guy play.
So, I have the same feelings about Trubisky but the opposite reaction. I've been in a Discord server with some hardcore Trubisky fans (not Bears fans, as you pointed out one video), and it was refreshing to have this final nail in the coffin for his career. When I was watching the game, I described it as a live-action comedy, because I found his play so hilariously bad. I definitely don't know what he was looking for in the triple coverage pick, but in the double coverage pick, it looked like he was completely locked onto one receiver; I dont think I ever saw him read the defense at all. I think what was most Trubisky-esque of all, though, even more than those extremely dumb interceptions, was a pass where two receivers were running out routes, one deep and one short, and he threw it at a spot between them where no one was, and the receivers looked at each other like "...who was that even to?" It was hard to contain my laughter. The last dollop of comedy to come out of all of this is this awful performance was preceded by Nagy's comments that Trubisky had the best practice he's seen of him. Think about that. The best practice Trubisky has had resulted in this. Frankly, I don't think Nagy gets a fair look because he's needed to work with Trubisky this entire time. Nick Foles is far too inconsistent to roll with either. He's been excellent creating concepts that get his receivers open but has never had a QB that actually sees that. He's going to get fired and I think someday when he gets another gig as a play caller (even if he isn't the HC) with a serviceable QB (I don't even think it necessarily has to be a good QB), we'll see what he's been capable of. I agree that as of late, his play calling has been bad, but I legitimately wonder if that's more of a function of wanting to limit the mistakes his QBs can make rather than executing a more functional offensive plan.
I named Trubisky "Bortles 2.0" the moment he was drafted. They are the same person, with the same story, and the same career. I live in Jacksonville and watched every minute Bortles played.
Matt Nagy was allegedly an offensive guy. Period. The defense was perfected by Vic Fangio and has been decently maintained by Chuck Pagano. I highly doubt a guy who rode in on Andy Reid's coattails and refuses to run the ball no matter the situation does anything for the defense.
He is not the answer lmao. His play calling is stupid. And that defense was slightly made by Vic Fangio (b4 he left). Chuck Pagano seems to have managed them well but that 2018 campaign was all thanks to Vic Fangio. Starting 2k19 Naggy’s play calling was bad asf. I remember he would run plays that would make a RB start like 3 yards back and since the OL didn’t make a gap they would constantly lose yards. He would develop plays where only 1 receiver would be open. He’s trash.
I totally agree with Zach here. Our local sports show host predicted this for the offseason: Ryan pace is fired, Trubisky is gone, a new gm is hired and Matt Nagy remains on the hottest seat in the NFL. And at this point, i don’t even know if anyone would care if you start Tyler bray or Matt sloter**
Thank You. I'm so tired of fools claiming "Money Mitch is going to step up", he never does. His worst throw Sunday was a "pretty pass" to the Packers Safety in the Endzone. He was trying to hit Darnell Mooney who was double covered. This guy just isn't a professional QB in the NFL. Nice guy for certain but... not a starter, not a leader.
Worth noting: Trubisky and Foles are both in the top 5 of NGS aggressive stat. That's got to be on the coaches. Trubisky is still not a franchise QB but the coaches also have to go
Thats what separates good QBs. Trubisky doesn't read routes and he could compensate if he had a good enough arm but he misses 2 and 3 yard throws way to often. He just wasn't the guy. Look at this last class. Everyone of the top 3 QBs are future stars. It is time to make a plan if the bears want any chance of competing. Stats are not everything either. The fact is, atleast Daniel Jones runs his own offense with some what command and his team is by far the worst of the young QB situations. They are in 1st place. Trubisky never got to the point where he runs his own offense. Herbert and Burrow are already doing these things.
As a Bears Fan, i agree, i dont know why he still got an opportunity to play, hes had the same mechanical issue for 3 years and is yet to improve and he holds on to the ball like its covered in baby oil
My god... I felt this. I feel the same exact way towards Mitch. Absolutely over drafted and wasted a Super Bowl window waiting for him to develop. This team feels a lot like Jacksonville a few years ago

Look at all the possibilities for next year, New GM, New Head Coach, 2 picks on first round, and also, the most cap space in NFL.... So far I feel it as a shot in the darkness but also this could be the chance that fans had been waiting for so long.
@@Sweeney-Kubach I think that proves that with a competent coach, tough defense and a solid ground game the bears can be good. But Mitch is ass, they have no real run game to speak of and no defense can be effective when they are on the field the entire game. It is coaching, it is QB performance. Those two stink

Neither Broncos QBs had 3 turnovers in a single game like Mitch. LMAO
Why does Mitchell Trubisky keep getting praise for late quick drives to score vs prevent defenses? Any QB can move ball down vs Prevent defenses.
They often happen to be game winning drives is why.
His physical abilities are undeniable if only he could figure out how to play the position. Mitchell Trubisky went number 2 in the draft because of his arm talent and athleticism. How can you say he has a weak arm and brought nothing to the table? What are you? watching?
Each time Watson and Mahomes achieve anything is an indictment on the bears. Detroit and Chicago will forever be the pits of mediocre football.
I get this. I was a pitcher my whole life but didn’t throw as hard as others at the college level once I got there. I embraced changing speeds and taking an effective finesse approach. That became part of my identity and I tend to make excuses for pitchers who can’t throw hard because of it. We’re all bias when we can relate.
You went in on your arm the same way em dissed himself in 8 mile.
Let’s just send Mitch to the saints for some reason Sean Peyton has a QB recovery and growth system over there
It’s a rehab facility 🤣
“Ive never been the guy that yells and rants.” Proceeds to yell and rant
I remember y’all was calling Herbert Mitch 2.0
That probably pissed Herbert off then he was like "ok I'm just gonna go off"
I've heard someone say you do not want a quarterback with a "deer on the headlights look". Mitch has that.
Isn't it crazy how quickly things can change? Two years ago Matt Nagy won COTY, everyone was saying that he was the guy who was going to lead Chicago to the promised land, and now everyone is saying that he should be fired. Crazy.
Angry Zac = best Zac
This entire clip is banter Zac 👍👍👍😂😂😂 more of this!!!
When he threw into triple coverage, I thought it was a free play. When I realize it wasn’t and it got picked off I was like “Oh, you’re a dumbas$”.
People who are calling Mitch, "Money Mitch", are joking. No one actually believes that Zach.
I can’t believe he didn’t realize that😂😂
It’s crazy how the bears legit have never had a truly elite QB
You either die a hero, or live long enough to become skip bayless
As a Packer fan, I am kind of hoping Mitch Trubisky plays in December. Definitely would result in a new GM, head coach, and quarterback in Chicago afterwards.
Nobody:
Guy whos 5'11":
"I'm so small and weak"
That’s football culture. When you’re surrounded by guys who are 6-3 to 6-6 and 300 pounds you’d feel small and weak too.
@@protectdavidchasetaylor2144 yeah id feel really small and weak if i tried to play as a 5'7 guy, but point taken
I hate getting hyped up every year for the Bears, only to see them fail....
Even though they started off 5-1 I knew we were in for disappointment just because they were barely winning those games and the offense was suspect
They need to just let Tyler Bray start lol they have nothing to lose. Guy has a cannon.
Agreed
Stop blaming coaching. Opportunity after opportunity, and he's shown no improvement. End of discussion.
but who is giving him all those opportunities? that plays a factor. it’s on coaching staff as well as the QB
Mitch Tribusky looks like a fun QB whenever he runs the ball a lot
I've never seen Zac this outraged lmao
Nick Foles can come out week after week and not score any points and throw a pick just about every week, Carson Wentz has been the embodiment of failure this season, but the man continues to see Trubisky as the worst qb playing rn and our biggest problem. I'm not with you on this one chief.
Dude, as a Bears fan everything about their offense is trash. Trubisky, bad. Foles, just as bad. O-line, trash. Running game, non existent. Play calling, a joke at best. Offense needs a complete overhaul from coaching staff to nearly every play.
Exactly man
why did they get rid of Jordan Howard? That guy was a beast for them.
Most fired up I’ve ever seen🤣
Hey man, it's alright to get passionate. In this case, it definitely makes sense. These coaches, GMs, owners are supposed to be in charge of PROFESSIONAL football teams, and Mitch is garbage. It's mind-blowing how they cannot see that. As a Bears fan myself, it's even worse. It doesn't take a football genius to see this guy has not ever been cut out for the league. The Bears are embarrassing themselves by letting this guy play.
So what the fuck do they do then? Start Foles? Start their practice squad QB?
At least they havent paid Trubisky an *albatross contract...* something the Eagles wish they could say about Wentz right now.
Am thankful as a Chiefs fan that the Bears lacked any sort of common sense and took "Money Mitch" over Pat Mahomes
It's Patrick Mahomes
“You can’t only run quick game and check downs and be successful long term in the NFL”
Has this guy ever heard of Tom Brady?
Love your commentary - some of the best on UA-cam - but so far nothing on Tua Tagavailoa. Would like to hear your take on him.
You really gotta feel for Bears' fans. Also Ryan Pace should definitely be on the hot seat
Matt nagy I think is the answer for head coach, he consistently develops top defenses, but needs a very good oc and let that guy call plays
Wasn't Nagy supposed to be an offensive guru when Chicago brought him in? I'm not sure but I think he was a O coordinator before head coach
He’s trash.
out here living up to the strong opinion sports name. holy jeebus this video was entertaining.
When Mitch was drafted 2nd overall I said on draft night that he was going to be Blake Bortles 2.0.
#2 overall QBs just don't pan out.
Lol, I think this is the most heated I've ever seen Zac 😂
How are the Giants the worst situation for young QBs? We have average receivers and (at worst) an above average O line....
@@Djinn667 the oline has improved but his weapons are underwhelming. They should make a serious run for Golliday or Allen Robinson
I don’t get why the Bears traded multiple picks to go up one spot and...why would they draft a QB who only played a year in college. Makes no sense
1:54 he sounds like the teacher on the no pomegranates meme
Trubisky is pretty much a bigger version of Christian ponder
But now the bears are gonna be stuck in mediocrity and not be able to draft a good quarterback
Halfway through when he's rambling I get an ad for meditation...
I feel sorry for Trubisky. Not everyone gets that shot in the NFL. He got that shot and blew it. That's gotta hurt hard.
Between Trubisky and Cutler, the Bears are the reigning kings of drafting mediocre QBs and giving them way too many chances.
Cutler is WAY better than trubisky; bears went to the playoffs with Cutler.
@@21stcenturyhiphop they did with Mitch too lol
@@ravegaming3142 yeah but they actually won a playoff game with Cutler.

Here in Denver, we would have been ecstatic to have Trubisky this week.
I hope the "People who send you messages" aren't voices in your head...jokes aside, your passion about Mitch Trubisky sounds like me when i was 14 arguing with my friends over steroids in baseball. Love the video. 9/10...10/10 with rice.
Me too bro ... I want to throw up 🤢 in my mouth every time I watch him take the field who knowingly looking at double and triple coverage and still throws it I’m very confused... can’t blame the OLINE bro I’m sorry but it’s over
Hey Zack! Can you please make a video about the Jaguars current situation? I mean... Look at all the possibilities for next year, New GM, New Head Coach, 2 picks on first round, and also, the most cap space in NFL.... So far I feel it as a shot in the darkness but also this could be the chance that fans had been waiting for so long.
Finally someone who sees it my way!!!! Amen brother Mitch has always been 🗑️
It's not coaching! The Bears haven't had a proper coach since Mike Ditka! Ok! Tubby also
Lovey Smith took the bears to a Super Bowl with Rex grossman at QB...
@@WhoIsMike yes he did!
@@Sweeney-Kubach I think that proves that with a competent coach, tough defense and a solid ground game the bears can be good. In Trubisky's Defense its hard to be a decent quarterback when the O-line practically holds the door open for the opposing Defense
i prefer to say that doing the same thing over and over again is not insanity, but stupidity
