Know what my freind that MX550 is stopping you from playing great games. PS you can play all games released before 2021.
Should be more then fine for older games. You can play pretty much everything
How did you reach that framerate in Elden Ring? I had maximum 30 unstable fps on lowest settings and in fights it drops mach more.
It's possible that my hardware is more powerful than yours, so the framerate you're experiencing could be due to the settings you're running the game at. If you're playing on the lowest settings, try increasing the settings a bit and see if it helps improve your framerate. You could also try looking into performance optimization guides online that could help you.
will i get similar performance in valorant with an i5 1235u and 16gb ram mx550? does the cpu make a huge difference or not

It really depends on the specific processor and RAM that you have. If the i5-1235U is a fairly new processor with a good clock speed, then it should be able to handle Valorant. However, the GPU (GeForce MX550) is definitely the more important component here, and it should provide decent performance. The CPU will still make a difference, but it won't be as significant as the GPU.
