blunt damage needs a huge rework, .338 tac x does 4 damage to your head through a fast mt, there needs to be a middle ground where the bullet from a SNIPER RIFLE doesn't behave like an smg round against armor
YEs, blunt damage was removed, which was a GOOD thing at the time, but now it makes no sense, that I can tank and 338 FMJ to the head (I actually did) and survive.
Basically revert all the blunt damage and armor damage changes to be what they were before the armor hitbox update. Although I would rather they revert to the original armor hitboxes and provide more detail to the player about what areas the armor you're wearing covers (like visually show the hitboxes on your character model) and also provide more info on where exactly you were hit (like visually show the hit locations and armor hitboxes on a model post raid) so players can understand the benefits of the different armors and so they can understand where they were shot instead of being like "I was wearing class 6, how did he one tap my thorax?!" A big part of why people disliked the initial implementation was because it's impossible to understand because the player is not provided with enough information.
i think it would went better if they made torso a doughnut hitbox with the center being current chest and the doughnut having a lesser dmgmult and keep the former sys. so plates actually protect a "vital" area while smgs still can hit chests reasonably well.
Of course they are going to have to rebalance ammo. They changed it to support the original armor change. Now they basically have gone back to old armor. Made the armor bigger than the visual model again which is dumb. Arms need to be pennable again…… but alas they will prolly just screw things up again…..
A ton of ammo right now is really really bad because of the change and theres also still no bullet fragmentation chance which is why they are so horrible
I don’t get why when I suggested instant craft I get push back. Like this would solve the ammo issue since you’d be able to use the crafted ammo, usually higher end ammo for gameplay. Like it would be a really good system that adds to the game. Currently crafting is like a bonus and it’s really not interactive in how you’d pick your load out for the next raid.
@@Clobercow1 this tripe is so tiresome. Tarkov isn't casual, and it never has been. I play with multiple people who work 40-50hr+ weeks and they are as high of a level/higher level than me. be more efficient with your raids, and stop sitting in one raid for the entirety of the timer.
I just hopped into tark again after about a year away. I think they should make all ammo useable instead of changing armor lol. I literally out play and out maneuver people spray them down 10-20 hits just for them to turn and 1 tap me to the thorax because I can’t buy ap ammo and they can. The only way I get kills is by hitting the face if they don’t have any kind of visor that is. It’s not even worth playing when you’re forced to be at such a disadvantage at this point in wipe. I literally have to hit them in a 5inch radius circle to kill them and they can pretty much 1 tap me anywhere that isn’t my legs. The only time the game is any fun is early wipe when nobody has good armor or ap ammo at all you can actually get in fun fights almost every raid.
@@zeroxshiobi nah just a don’t have the good ammo issue. I kill people all the time when I hit them in the face it’s just super annoying that I can only kill with face shots while everyone I fight at this point in wipe can seemingly hit me once almost anywhere to kill me. Today I was even using 5.45 bp ammo and hit a guy with half the mag in the back and back of the helmet then he ran to cover he re peeked and I hit him once in the face to kill him. The armor/ammo system is just ridiculous no matter what you use now.
This is my exact issue too. It's clear the majority of Tarkov players don't want an actually realistic game that prioritizes tactical movement and positioning over slapping a bunch of high tier armor on and tanking more rounds than any human being reasonably could. The armor system before the rework allowed for players with better positioning, movement and shot placement to win out versus the new system where, like you said, could be a better player skill wise and get dropped because of gear and ammo. Kinda gay imo.

i think BSG should experiment with removing a ton of ammos and having a pretty distinct low, medium and high tier ammo for each type. you buy low tier ammo with no cap, medium tier ammo with a capped amount and no buying high tier. something along the lines of this, obviously it wouldnt be perfect right away but it would make the game simpler and more balanced IMO. bosses and boss guards should have ONLY medium and high tier ammo, i shouldnt be able to kill Glukhar + guards and Reshala + guards and ONLY get shit like t-45m1 and luger cci

Tony's current take is that having respect for yourself and your viewers doesn't pay the bills. He initially tried to maintain his integrity by exploring other games after Nikita's controversial comments, where the CEO disparaged players who invested $150 as not being true believers.
