I have the ultrahuman as well and have the same issue with HRV. Mine is usually in the 20s and 30s. From my research it's very individual and seeing your own personal trends is the most important. When I had a hyperthyroid flair my HRV dropped into the single digits 😬

You answered your own question. It isn’t measuring your higher heart rates so your variability would be low. Not as much distance from resting HR to high exercise HR=low variability. Same reason why it’s not tracking your calories burned well… because it doesn’t see your HR up high.
