I bought a different brand and found there was a big quality difference between the first package I got and the second one. I was disappointed. Plan to try encha next! ☕
yes! brand quality makes a huge difference with matcha. You also usually get what you pay for. Luckily, I have found Encha to have an excellent price for the amazing quality!

I am dying to try matcha and haven't been able to afford the good stuff, but hopefully soon! Making me rethink my coffee habit too.
The good stuff isn't cheap, you are right!! Better to save up and splurge on the amazing matcha instead of buying the cheap stuff which can be just awful. I found that out when I did my big matcha review on my blog! kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/2014/03/matcha-green-tea-brand-reviews-buying.html

matcha cafes are so fun! Hard to find a GOOD one though! My fave for matcha outside my home is Urth Caffe in LA
