I have to agree with you. It joins a long list of wrong things, like the captivity of humans in various forms of oppression. I feel a companionship with the animals in our common prison, the slaves of money and of blind power.

Well, that does sound wrong, but zoos serve an important purpose: They have breeding programs where they breed endangered animals to try to increase their populations. It's for the sake of the animals. I would hate to see that program go away.

even if this was abuse why do the animals live longer then there wild counter parts zoo animals have a life of luxury in the wild the starve get eaten and they all end up dying getting eatan while they are alive by predators so really zoos are heaven for animals 😐
