Hello all from Ireland! I hope you like this one! Myself and Terry had some fun filming and I learnt a few tips too in the process!☘️😁 Shoutout to any ‘Friends’ fans out there. Have a magical week 🌈🧚♀️💕
Hello my friend! :) What a title!! I have only watched a few episodes of Friends, years ago, but I know it is super popular. Terry falling off the couch and then reaching up for help made me laugh!! Thanks for reminding me I need to clean out my hoover. LOL. Living with a indoor pet cat means there is always a bunch of fur!! I am really chill when it comes to cleaning (and life hahaha). I think I have a good balance of clean/messy....I call it 'lived in', but, I definitely appreciate when I take the extra time to deep clean, organize, declutter--you wake up feeling so much calmer about your living space. Blessings to you!! (I finally got more global stamps so a card is coming your way! :) )
😂 I loved the humorous skits in this one. When my children were young, to satisfy my need for orderliness, I kept one room - my bedroom - exactly the way I wanted it, and kept a more relaxed attitude about the rest of the house. Sometimes enjoying fun times with your children and orderliness can’t happen at the same time 🤣
I also am bad at taking a break. I was out cleaning up my patio yesterday. Every time I was about to sit and rest, I would see something I forgot and get back up! I thought I was the only person that cleaned my vacuum! I enjoyed the silly bits in this one, too.
Ugh this! I will be sore at the end of the day and starving BC I never stopped 😂 breaks make for a cleaner home in the long run is what I have to tell myself
My hubby and I are the perfect balance. He LOVES to clean and I love to be tidy. So he makes sure the dirt and dust are under control and I make sure everything is in its place.
Such a difference from your usual video formats. enjoyed your husband's role here. I am a lot like Monica - no eating in the bedrooms, let alone the bed & I too prefer to snack over the kitchen sink 🙃. Also obsess about keeping everything in its place.
In Turkey (my Dad’s generation), it was common to use old dress wear doing chores and gardening. I have seen photos of Aunties ironing in long gowns. I have an Uncle who still gardens in dress pants and dress shirts. I think it is such a great way to repurpose old dress clothes❤️
My familly calls me Monica because I’m a little obsessed with cleaning. I need a clean and organized home to relax. My best tip would be to quickly clean your house every night before bedtime in order to wake up in a clean and fresh home. And as I handwash the dishes I wash them as soon as we have had our dinner. The kitchen, even if it’s a little messy from cooking, always looks better when your sink is empty and clean.
I've been very sick for the past three years, and it has left so much of the cleaning and organizing to my poor husband. Organization and detailed cleaning is definitely something I am very good at, but my husband struggles with it. So, having had some wonderful moments of energy, I have been tackling some MAJOR organizing/decluttering. My cabinets, pantry, garage are all super tidy and I feel like a new woman!!🥰❤️ This week we have finally been able to have family visit, so we have 8 people in the house (four children, 7,5,3 and 5 months.) This is when I give into clutter (toys etc.) because I want them to have a wonderful visit/holiday without having me running around picking up all the time. It is against my nature, but it make for a relaxed visit with those whom we love❤️
Have ashgourd juice on an empty stomach in the morning..its supposed to be the best medicine for all diseases ..watch satvic movement on yt for more details n hope you feel more better after that ❣️lots of love n blessings from India🤗
I have never watched “Friends” so I’m not sure who Monica is, but I love your cleaning tips and hope to incorporate them into my life, which could use a lot of organizing! ❤️❤️
I'm with you, Susan; never saw Friends, but I can imagine how Monica is funny. Not sure about cleaning my house in my wedding dress, but dressing up a bit could be fun. I like that you keep your cleaning simple, with simple ingredients. Too many people buy so many specialized products, as if it will make the cleaning job easier. Cleaning isn't difficult, it's just repetitive.
I get very anxious when the downstairs is a mess. I am often too tired to clean up after a long day of work, kids activities, and dinner. I do however clean before I leave to work. I tidy up the living room. Fluff the pillows and fix throw blankets, and finish with vacuuming. I make sure the kitchen is clean too. Nothing better then coming home to a clean house. 😌
I’m a bit of a Monica and my family doesn’t love it. 😅 My partner is a walk-n-snacker and very messy and sometimes I can’t even “hear” him talking because I’m just hearing the deafening sound of seeds and crumbs hitting the floor I just vacuumed. I try to keep at least 80% of my extraness to myself but I definitely have a quarterly meltdown about it. I can’t help it 😩 I hate mess. Loved this video!
I recently started doing all the dishes right before I go to bed at night. I live by myself, so it's easy to just let them pile up over a few days and then feel overwhelmed at how many they are. It's soooo lovely and such a great gift to Future Beth to wake up each morning to a clean kitchen and all the dishes I need at the ready :)
“there’s nothing worse than being afraid to get something dirty or make a mess” i would always get stressed to cook with my mother because she complains every time i spill something, get water on the floor, etc. i think being a little messy is part of the fun of cooking and i wish she would see it that way!
My mother is the same, 'you are dripping' whenever a spot of water hit the floor. Nightmare to live with, I'm so relaxed in my home and I've learnt from her how I don't want to be or make people feel. x
FRIENDS forever!! - started with the show in college, through dating, through marriage and through my first child born in 2004. Then, bought all 10 seasons on DVD and watched every year with the hubby! Watched the reunion 4 times and cried every time!! Best show, ever. Iconic! Loved adulting in the 90's. Best times!! =)
I only seem to clean when someone is coming over. I used to clear every Saturday but now that it’s just my husband & myself I don’t. I’m more relaxed about cleaning daily but with 3 dogs I do vacuum often, shake out dog towels/beds outside daily on the flowerbeds! & put mats/towels at the front & back door to minimise the dirt coming into the house especially from 12 wet paws!!
Thanks so much for inspiring me to let my inner-Monica out. These are great tips to keep your home clean, but to also remember that home should be a comfortable and happy place.
I used to have a really strict cleaning routine every week but i’ve gradually moved away from that especially since moving and the pandemic it’s just a waste of time and life is too short... I loved your vid it was lots of fun 😁🇬🇧
Please make a video for students too..their sustainable routine or something and also something that can reduce mental pressure and anxiety because all your videos are so aesthetic..love them
The fact that my room is messy is a sign that my mind is tired. Or when my room is in a mess, it means that my thoughts are also messy too. But I tended to be a little bit obsessive about cleaning. I used to clean my rooms every day. Now I can skip cleaning or just do a little bit and often as you said, which is better for me. This video is really fun. I never eat anything on my bed, haha!
I get super stressed when cleaning a messy house. I can listen to ur voice all day. It's so calming n makes everything look so easy. Next time i clean i am putting this video on repeat.
I like your style and your sense of humour! As for cleaning, I love to live life. I don't let cleaning rule me and at the same time, I appreciate its guidance. Keep up these wonderful videos!
I love this concept for your video! I also enjoy your's and your husband's senses of humour. Your wedding dress it lovely! I love how unique it is! I would say that I am not stressed but I do like to have my home feel tidy. I try to do something everyday, then it doesn't have to be a big job at any point. I started doing 15 minute windows, where I give myself 15 mins, and try to do as much as I can with in that time. I am always amazed at how much I can get done and I can usually find 15 minutes to give, even on a busy day, without making my day become overwhelming. Have a wonderful week!
Hello from Australia... I'm a clean as you go, with extended family and dogs it can get a wee chaotic but everybody has their tasks to do before going to bed this way we wake to a tidy house and that makes everyone happy to start their day. Loved your antics in this video was a lovely video. Loved watching Friends too.
Love this, although I hoped hubby was ok when I heard a little crack when he hit the floor lol! My dad had a saying from WW2 he served on a ship..”If you see it, clean it, if you can’t clean it, paint it, if you can’t paint it, salute it!” Lol, thanks for a great channel!❤️
Thank you for the last tip, that was definitely for me. I get very bad anxiety if the house isn't clean. My husband and I live in a small home with 2 cats, 1 dog and 2 teenagers that we homeschool. We are definitely minimalists, and we all pitch in to keep the house clean, but things do get messy and dirty sometimes and I really need to remind myself that it's ok when that happens.
Cats and dogs just add stress if the bar is too high with cleaning and organizing -- even ordinary people are thrown off by smell, cat toilet, bathing routines, and sleeping pets here and there who leave HAIRS AND MITES
I have a daily cleaning routine. It's just my husband and myself, but our sweet little home is like yours...800 sq ft. Your wedding dress is stunningly beautiful!🌺🌸🌺 Much Love, from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦... Keli 💖
I love this video so much! I love F.R.I.E.N.D.S and I loved the subtle humor in this video. And can I say: Thank you that final tip/observation! I used to live by myself pre-pandemic and am now in a house with three other adults, and I was obsessing about cleaning and the mess initially. But acknowledging sometimes you can’t help the mess brings you some peace. And that tip about If you see it, do it: there’s an eerily similar saying in my native (South Indian) language that goes “If your eyes see it, your hands must do it.” Needless to say, it’s a favorite of mums everywhere, including mine 🙃
In the past I always used to keep my house “company ready”. It was a way of life my parents set up. But then I was confining myself to an unrealistic way of living. And it wasn’t honest. I’m much more involved with my life than that. Many projects happening at the same time. Paint and fabric and books and plants and animals. It finally became apparent to me that if the company doesn’t like the house then they probably don’t like me. As long as it is clean and healthy I’m content.💕
I mean the acting is clearly the highlight of this video! When your husband felt off the couch I were literally crying laughing but worried at the same time! And your wedding dress is soooo beautiful 🤩
Love that term “hoovering”!! We use more boring language for cleaning items here in 🇨🇦. I also love your “purple hoov”. Great tips and a fun video. Thanks for this one. PS - I too do the dishes as I go… otherwise I get bogged down by the mess.
Loved your sense of humor! I do get a bit stressed, so I try to clean as I go along. It seems as if I have a cluttered surrounding - my thoughts get cluttered too!!!
I totally agree with your tip about keeping tools and equipment clean and in good working order. A vacuum cleaner works better and lasts longer if it’s kept clean and tangle-free on the inside. I wash out the filter in my cordless vacuum every week and keep an eye on the dirt level inside. Hair on the brushes can be a problem so it’s a good idea to check for that and cut it off with scissors when you see it.
I had a visit from my grandchildren they love to tidy, I get my shredding done, mop the kitchen floor, hoover, then a run outside in the sprinkler. While clothes are drying they snuggle in blankets for a story or colour a picture for gran. I have a tidy apt and a beautiful picture of a turtle for the fridge.
HAAAAA the feeble hand coming up from the floor at the end of the "blankets and cushions" part :) Thank you for a great video that made me smile. Sending love from Buffalo, New York, USA!
Enjoyed! Time saver if you enjoy clean sheets, after 2-4 nights flip the top sheet and enjoy fresh end that was tucked under mattress. Strip bed/ wash weekly, or more often in hot sticky weather.
Another lovely video, Niamh! You are such an inspiration in everything you do. I especially like the 'if you see it, clean it' tip. There is nothing more demoralising than seeing a mountain of housework in front of you (unless, of course, that is what you like doing!) As has been said before, folk are more likely to remember you for your other qualities, rather than the fact that you kept a clean house
When I used to watch friends I thought I can never be clean like Monica. You have created an easy doable to follow list from hers. Have a lovely week! 💛
What a fun video!! Your hubby was such a good sport!! I am relaxed with my cleaning overall. Some things I am a little more structured on like taking out the trash every day, wiping off countertops, changing out towels, picking up stuff & putting it where it belongs.☺️🧹🧽
I'm a Monica in a lot of ways (not just in name is Monica). My mind gets overwhelmed with mess. Small messes I can convince myself is okay so long as it's not dirty. I just feel I relax more efficiently in a clean house. I also enjoy cleaning. It is therapeutic and something tangible. I am strict about where to eat and I ask my family to clean after themselves. With a teen who isn't like his mum, that can be a repetitive job it feels 😒 I find that I've eased up more as I age. 40 is coming soon and I feel less obsessive now than I did at 25. I loved the whimsy in this video!
When my children were small, I saw that there was less tension in the home if everything was tidy. On days they couldn't walk across the floor in the toy room, we'd clean and organize. Then they would plan for hours in there. Even as adults, I find we are calmer when the house is neat.
I'm a chill person most of the time. These are good tips but I also have tips from watching my Gran through the years. My Gran had a big family and she could have easily been uptight about mess but she wasn't. Every evening we did a 15 min tidy of the house. Everyone cleaned up any mess we saw and then went to bed. Then she'd pick one day except Sunday to deep clean one room. Monday she'd clean the kitchen, Tuesdays the bathrooms and so on. It was a stress free way to maintain her large house and not take too much on everyday. I loved it so much I now do the same with my own home and family. Sunday's are our day of rest. We only do the dishes that day.
I absolutely love having a clean kitchen at all times. I like waking up to a clean kitchen, it puts me in a good mood first thing in the am. Absolutely HATE washing dishes, will NEVER live in a house that does not have a dishwasher. Enjoy watching this video makes cleaning more fun.
The one where Niamh admits she doesn't exclusively bathe in a bubbling brook, with birds bringing her towel over in their beaks. Am I disappointed or relieved? Adorable video.
Friends fan here. Like you, I like to clean as I see things, and can feel a bit overwhelmed if things pile up. I enjoy a tidy space. I remember the episode where Monica was cleaning her hoover with another mini hand held hoover! 🤣
Well that was fun! My favourite episode is the one with the secret closet. My daughter and I once rented a side-by-side where our neighbours were extremely tidy and minimalist. Their home always looked perfect and ours always looked, well, lived in! I have to admit the contrast between our homes made us feel badly about ourselves. That is, until one day when they asked us to feed their pets whilst they went on holiday. We walked into their perfectly tidy home but couldn't actually find the pet food. They had forgotten to leave the pet food out. So I decided to look in the cupboards... every cupboard in the kitchen was a "secret closet" - crammed with stuff in a terrific mess! In fact, every cupboard in the house was a "secret closet" and their garage was a "secret garage" so full of junk that they had to leave their car in the driveway. That discovery made us feel a lot better about ourselves. So whilst the surface of our home was always a mess, our closets were in always in perfect order. :)
I like the Monica from Friends reference! I can become too serious about cleaning sometimes too. But your channel puts the fun back into it for me. Thanks!
"It is what it is" my husbands favorite saying. Thanks for reminding me that about housework. With Covid and all the changes this year my house hasnt always felt peaceful. Im blessed to be spending time with family so I will remember that all will get done not to sweat it so much.
Loved today’s video! What a lovely and fun concept. I am a big fan of friends and have watched the reunion. The one tip I immediately wrote down was the simple lemon-salt-soda cleaning tip for the shower doors; thanks a million 🤩 Have a lovely day! 🥰
Enjoyed this video too. Wish I could achieve a cleaner home but I am someone who blitz cleans, as little and often bores me to tears, I'd rather be in the garden. I do feel inspired to 'clean when I see it' as you suggest, as it would take away the negative feeling when it catches my eye more than once, so that's what I'll try this week 😊
Today's video brought an instant laugh and a smile. I loved the cleaning and organizing tips inspired by Monica. And what a beautiful wedding dress. I loved it.
Bravo from Belgium !! Have a nice week and keep it simple !😁😁
LOVE the comedy, it looks like you both had a really good time making this video. Great tips and especially the last about realizing life happens and not to stress. We have two boys and will soon be a foster family so we have our fair share of untidiness. We are aiming to instill values of respect and cleaning up after ourselves in the kids. We have daily chores plus a weekly round robin of deeper cleaning i.e. car, kitchen, bathroom, mudroom etc. Another great video! Thank you :)
I'm definitely loving this. I love a spotless home, I stress and can't relax in my space when I see stuff around. It doesn't help with 3 kids and a husband but I do clean as I go. I've taught my kids but they need constant reminders argh
Grandie's wisdom: "A place for everything and everything in its place." - decades before Monica graced our television screens, which still serves me to this day. Sadly, her wedding dress was lost in a house fire years before I was born (only the house and its contents were harmed in the making of that house fire), so I never got to experience seeing that level of cleaning. Thanks, as always, for the furn and enjoyable (and informative!) "tips" video. Happy week!
To be honest I feel very stressed in untidy home and it happens more now than ever. Two years ago I started working from home and since then I live in a constant mess :D Seeing you clean made me so inspired to tackle my own home
Having only recently discovered you. I love watching your videos. You inspire me to tidy up, making it all look so easy. I’m now also going to look to purchase wicker storage baskets. Thanks. Have a lovely day. 💕🌻💕
I enjoy your videos every week, always look forward to them, specially because I work on Sundays and your videos give me a since of calmness before I stay my day. Now I’m so happy to hear you are also a Friends fan!!! 🥰🎉
I love all those great Friends episodes and I am blessed to have them on DVD since Netflix canceled the contract with them and no longer has them included in their library of great tv shows. I too get stressed out with not being able to keep things as clean and tidy and I totally agree with you. Sometimes you just have to let go and relax for a bit. I'm trying to get it together now so that I can enjoy the summer. We were all cooped up in our homes for more than a year now and it's time to get out and enjoy. Thank you for sharing. I am enjoying all your wonderful videos and am very inspired by you. Keep up the great work, you are greatly appreciated. God bless. Have a wonderful week.
What a great video. Love the fun you had with your husband. I am a cleany and my husband is a messy. This leads to anxiety for me at times. He calls if Fo-ing, short for Fanatical cleaning. I ignore him and clean anyway. A clean organized home relaxes me. I am not obsessive I just want things organized. We work it out. We use humor at times, such as, I will clean the man cave it you do not take care of this for me. haha!!! Wish I could fit in my wedding outfit.
Ha ha, that was to funny 😂😁👏 Good cleaningtips to, thanks 🤗 I love a clean and nice house, this gives me peace and rest in my mind. I hate a messy house 😊
LOVE Friends!! These tips were great and reminded me of several awesome episodes!! I completely resonate with cleaning your cleaning supplies. 🙃 I found myself scrubbing down my bathroom caddy that holds the sponges and sprays and what not the other day, and it made me think of Monica as well. Thanks for sharing and making me smile today!
Love the little and often idea for cleaning. I’m going to try that. At the moment I end up cleaning at the weekend and not getting a proper break from working.
OMG!! Never ever thought you would come up with such a video Niamh😀Love love love this concept 🥰Monica's fan here 🙋 Edit : Just now finished watching the video.. Lol 🤣🤣 the way you pulled the ottoman when your husband was about to sit🤣🤣
Yes I love friends and I love your videos. When you said there's nothing worse than being afraid of getting something dirty and that's me and life for my kids but now it's even worse because I developed a disorder I've had it for 4 years.
Thank you, I just started to watch FRIENDS again too! and Monica's habit is actually what I tried to capture. I don't know besides of the whole 6 together, Monica habit is the second thing that I always think of.

I look forward to your card as always :-)
Wow perfect.
A home should be clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be happy.
I unintentionally got triggered by the first part of the quote (heh) love it now that I read it entirely!
Well said ❤
I absolutely loved seeing your sense of humor in this video. Your husband was such a great sport. So funny. More of this please! How fun.
Wasn’t he such a sport indeed!
😂 I loved the humorous skits in this one.

What a BEAUTIFUL wedding dress!!!! 💕👍😀
The dress is lovely. The shoes are fabulous!
Yes I dearly love your wedding dress as I'm searching for one of my own that isn't just all white and plain

That is indeed a match made in heaven, Sunnyside Journals! ♥ I am a tidy one, too, so I would love to find a man who loves to clean.....and cook! LOL
I need that in my life!!! ❤️
Such a difference from your usual video formats. enjoyed your husband's role here.

In Poland everyone does that. On Saturdays, when we usually clean houses, you see people in old, worn out clothes while doing chores.

Your best tip for others is to clean their house every night before bedtime? Really?
Pretty much. I clean up everything mid evening and then reset whatever us left out before I go to bed so the morning is nice.

Thats a great idea! I always try to give myself a time limit too
Hello from Australia...
Your wedding dress is stunningly beautiful!🌺🌸🌺
Much Love, from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦... Keli 💖
I love the bits of humor you snuck in! It was relaxing and fun too☀️
I love this video so much!
I'm a visual person so I am all about clothes colour coordinating and categorising!! So satisfying indeed 🧥👗👖👕
Let's go team Monica!! Friends fan forever!♥️♥️
I mean the acting is clearly the highlight of this video! When your husband felt off the couch I were literally crying laughing but worried at the same time! And your wedding dress is soooo beautiful 🤩
hehe i promise no husbands were injured in the process! lol!
Loved the humor in this one! What a fun and informative video!
What a gorgeous dress! I was hoping to see the whole thing! Thank you for the fun! and laughs! I love seeing little glimpses of beautiful Ireland too!
Great loved this vlog, a house is a house when it's clean, stay well Niamh, 🏡❤️🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
What a great video😍👏thank you!!!! I grew up watching Friends and realized that I unintentionally adopted a few Monica tricks 😂👍
Hilarious! I love the Monica re-enactment scenes! I am a real Monica, myself, so I really enjoyed this. Your husband is such a good sport!
Another lovely video, Niamh! You are such an inspiration in everything you do. I especially like the 'if you see it, clean it' tip. There is nothing more demoralising than seeing a mountain of housework in front of you (unless, of course, that is what you like doing!)
As has been said before, folk are more likely to remember you for your other qualities, rather than the fact that you kept a clean house
Aww you and your husband are too cute 💜 thank you for the tips.
Hehehe! :-)
Thanks!
Hello from Mexico ❣️ This is a Lovely video😍 Terry and you are a wonderful team. Thank you so much for sharing with us🙏🦄
"It is what it is" my husbands favorite saying.
The one tip I immediately wrote down was the simple lemon-salt-soda cleaning tip for the shower doors; thanks a million 🤩
Have a lovely day!
I loved it.
What a fun morning with you! I do love a place for everything. Oh I do love the fluffed pillows. See you next Sunday!
Who knew fluffing pillows could be so fun!
Bravo from Belgium !!
Have a nice week and keep it simple !😁😁
Très drôle, mais certainement! Greetings to our friends in Belgium...
Happy week!
Literally laughed out loud at the cookies part hahaha so good Niamh. Loved this one xx
To be honest I feel very stressed in untidy home and it happens more now than ever. Two years ago I started working from home and since then I live in a constant mess :D Seeing you clean made me so inspired to tackle my own home
p.s. I love how funny this video was, great job
I LOVE all your videos. What a nice break to sit and relax and to watch and listen to you. This one was even funny! Keep up the good work, please!
Love your video! I actually chuckled at the way you and your husband were having fun creating this video! I too like to watch Friends!
i have always loved friends, and have watched it lots of times.A real pick up when your down. Lovely video as always
I totally agree with Nia. Loved this - a great fun start to my day.
You looked beautiful in your dress and lippy x
Thanks so much 😊
I love all those great Friends episodes and I am blessed to have them on DVD since Netflix canceled the contract with them and no longer has them included in their library of great tv shows.
Loved it !! I keep a brush in my workstation so that every day before starting work I can do a mini dusting. Clean workstation gives motivation
Ha ha, that was to funny 😂😁👏
Good cleaningtips to, thanks 🤗
I love a clean and nice house, this gives me peace and rest in my mind.
I hate a messy house 😊
This video was practical and so much fun to watch! Kudos to your husband! What a great sport!!
i love the floral print of your wedding dress. lovely!
Your videos are always restful and charming, but today the video was hilarious also. Great job to both of you.
Went to Austria on holidays about 14 years ago. Best country I ever visited.
Great to see the legendary Irish humour 😄 loved this video 👍
Yes I love friends and I love your videos. When you said there's nothing worse than being afraid of getting something dirty and that's me and life for my kids but now it's even worse because I developed a disorder I've had it for 4 years.
I loved how you threw in the humorous scenes. Well done! 🤗
Thank you, I just started to watch FRIENDS again too! and Monica's habit is actually what I tried to capture. I don't know besides of the whole 6 together, Monica habit is the second thing that I always think of.
Your voice is so much soothing to hear...
Loved this! So much fun. You and your hubby made it fun and funny!
I have never watched Friends but I like your sense of humor.
Your wedding dress and the lovely matching shoes are glorious!!💕❤️
