that foul 1:33 should've been a red card cuz that tackle was reckless and brutal

Considering that other players in recent weeks have received red cards for less than that tackle, it’s very bewildering. That player stayed on the field and committed other infringements - so red or not he should not have stayed on the field. I’m scratching my head cos as a former referee I can’t for the life of me understand how they’re interpreting rules nowadays

@@mrhof7501 I don’t want to see red cards all the time but if they’re gonna dish out card after card for the wanderers then I want to see some consistency. wanderers get red cards for barely hurting a player and this tackle that almost snaps a leg doesn’t even get checked by var! for example, Hendrix’s red card the other night was nothing in comparison to that Farrell challenge.

That penalty was a disgraceful decision. The free should have been to the defender.
The forward came from behind, stuck his foot over the defender and tripped himself.
Seriously, how could they have seen that as a penalty????

How on earth was that a penalty? How on earth was jumping feet first onto someone's ankle a yellow card? How on earth is this bloke refereeing? Its about time ref's were called out on these blatant failures that cost teams money/position and them nothing.

And the referee had a good view of the incident too.
Not much common sense being applied lately.
It’s the 83rd minute, attacker over runs the ball, sees a Wanderer defender about to clear the ball so he throws himself (lunges more so) at a ball he can never win from that angle and manages to dive between the defenders legs & going away from goal. Mmmm sounds like he meant to make contact with the defender to somehow make it look like he was fouled ! Well all I can say that Mr Elder was fouled (I mean fooled).
We need better leadership in the referee hierarchy because if things don’t get better soon, fans will be deserting the game in droves

Let's just accept the referees will be showing ramification for Rudan calling out Kersey, Garcia, MacGill and all the ref's terrible decisions lately.
Either that or a fix is in for WSW failing to make the top 6 or the league is being scripted to allow other teams to grow at the expense of us WSW fans.
I'll need to bring it my tin foil hat soon
