The Rimmel pressed powder can be removed from the packaging and placed in a classic mirror compact. It fits perfectly. I use a small piece of double sided tape to secure it. Or a dab of hot glue. I have a collection of old mirror compacts.

After being seriously ill & having 6 operations, requiring 6 intubations (the 1st intubation was aborted as I had a growth in my throat) to an exploratory surgery with the University Hospital that found the problems & fixed them I’m ready to repurchase makeup again. (Meeting with the Dr who said if you can breathe I can intubate you😮. So this video is timely for me!

-I’ve also hit pan on the too faced sweet peach and repurchased before it was discontinued. And same with the too faced chocolate bar. And recently, I’ve hit pan on a couple of shades in the Natasha denona my dream palette and repurchased that palette. That palette has replaced my modern renaissance and sweet peach palettes! And I did repurchase the xenon palette because I have some huge dips in a couple of shades. I wanted another before it was discontinued. I actually use some of the shades in xenon with the shades nurture and aspiration from the my dream palette. That’s why I hit pan on those two shades so fast, lol. I was using it almost everyday! lol! From the my dream palette:
Nurture- all over lid and crease. Aspiration- deepen inner and outer corners, blown out, very lightly blended through crease. Then get out the xenon palette. Nightsky: line upper lashline. Snowbow or Swift on center of lid. Ebb: dab on outer and inner corners just a little.
You know what works for you and stick to them! Love it!
Guyyyyys…. Off subject today but listen up ladies over 40. I’ll turn 50 this year and I just wanted to pass a long a makeup tip I just learned. Don’t go below your nose when applying your blush or bronzer. Go more horizontal and less angled. Start your products where your pupils are. I’m telling yall it’s an instant game changer! If what I typed makes no sense at all then google RMS blush and bronzer placement! I think the owner of RMS is Rose Marie? Any who it will change the game on how you think about blush and bronzer placement. Blown away I was. Just wanted to share. Love and peace ❤

I’m 52 and love a ton of Laura Gellar products. Our 20y/o daughter loves a bunch of her products as well. Her products are ageless and timeless.
As a normal consumer of makeup (not an influence) I repurchase a lot of my makeup. Most repurchased of all time for me is Revlon Colourstay foundation. I’ve used it since at least 1995 because I wore it on my wedding day. I still love it, but I must say the Rimmel long lasting foundation is my favourite at the moment.
You have influenced me to try so many great products over the years. I have repurchased Wet and Wild single eyeshadow in ´Nutty’ more than once.
Happy Saturday!! I have repurchased Revlon Black Cherry lipstick and Chocolate Cherry lipstick. Cherries in the Snow, too! Nice thing about Revlon is that they keep their core lipstick line forevahhh! Skin care wise, I've been using Philosophy's Purity facial cleanser since 1999, and now my 20something daughter uses it, too.

I absolutely have repurchased an eyeshadow palette because I used it up! The small palette from Tarte called Tease! And now I’m obsessed with getting every single one they come out with, but Tease is ALWAYS available as far as I’ve seen. LOVE Tarte eyeshadows!!!

Bub is super excited about his law practice - I got to see the office (in person) for the first time last night and it's so cool!! Morning Emily! I have to agree on the two eyeshadow palettes - Shimmering Sands and Walking on Eggshells are the best. The quality and shade range of walking on eggshells makes it the best option for travel if you can just take one palette. Also love the Rimmel stay matte powders- I’ve transferred mine to a beautiful metal compact too and it lasts for years, no more broken packaging. ❤

I actually repurchased the original Lorac Pro palette. I had not used it up, though I did have a couple of shades that had almost hit pan. I repurchased because it was so old I was getting worried about continuing to use it. Also, I repurchased Maybelline’s Warm Me Up multiple times. I have so many lipsticks but that shade is unique and I love it.
Clicked fast. Nothing like liking a product so much you have to repurchase. Great feeling to find a gem. Just like my Loreal and Neutrogena's serum foundations. Rms blushes, lash without limits brown mascara, MacStack mascaraand some powders

Another cool thing about the Rimmel powder is it is a refill for a lot of fancy and vintage compacts. That’s why the packaging is like that. There’s a hole on the bottom to pop the powder pan out. I love that!

Some things ive repurchased many times are both the Paulas Choice spf 50 fluid and the Elf Invisible spf, powder wise the Loreal infallible freshwear powder foundation and the Laura Mercier Ultas blur, love those. I have repurchased a ton of those elf brow pencils and the concealer too. Definitely repurchased face base, all-nighter, fit me powder, mad hippie spf daily serum. Several foundations: the uoma one, superstay, double wear, wet n wild tinted hydrator. Caliray mascara and sky high. I have went through maybelline raw chocolate and totally toffee lip liners. The only lipsticks springing to mind are colourpop brink and Parker.

I use On The Grind as a lipliner and then use Achieve it All or Lead the Way to fill in. Love these two color combos! I’ve repurchased these three shades a lot too!

I think Lead the Way was the first one Emily featured, and I bought it because of her. I'm pretty sure she's used On the Grind as well, but it's a newer shade and hasn't been featured as often as the original shades.

Love these throwback videos! Have repurchased Wet n Wild brûlée single shadow many times. CoverGirl classic blush in soft mink. Milani lip oil in the raspberry flavor (car gloss 😂) and Milani lipstick in Dulce Caramelo (fave nude). Catrice glowy setting spray. L’Oréal Lumi glotion.
I agree. The black beauty blender pro is my fave. Nothing beats it for me. I’ve tried sooo many “dupes”.
My favorite product is the Burgundy or Deep Violet mascara from L’Oreal.. I have green eyes so it helps to contrast my eyes.💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸

Stores are stocked by what sells in a given area. It would not behoove them to carry every shade of every product.

Hi 😊 great video! I've been using the ELF sponge that you mentioned for the last 2 yrs and love it. The last 2 that I've bought have been different. Harder, not lasting as long ( ripping) and when I wet it for the First time something sudsy comes out. Have you noticed any of these changes?

I think relating to shade range- the stores have to take into account who their demographic customers are. I know in my small town, Walmart always has the same shades on clearance that do not sell simply because they don’t fit the customer base. Supply and demand. Just a thought on why a full shade range might not be in stores. Online is a different story.

Rimmel Stay Matte is the best powder imo hands down. Always does what it needs without looking like powder on the skin, with a brush, puff or sponge. It’s not drying either. It’s better than any powder I’ve tried and is a work horse.

So here’s the thing about the ELF beauty sponge it never seems to always be the same texture. Anyone else have that issue? I had a great one. Loved the texture then I finally had to replace it and it totally felt differently. It felt rubbery or something. It never seems consistent for me. Even tho the OG Beauty blender costs more, I can count on it all the time.
Yes I have had that happen I have repurchased this sponge many times and only had it happen once but there shouldn’t be any inconsistency in any of them.

Please open your UD Summer Solstice and check it for mold! I know that one is older and there's always mold in the various bottles I've had usually within a year of having them. Love seeing the tried and true products in action!

Speaking of that Neutrogena foundation, yes, they do need to extend the shade selection, but on top of it being a truly beautiful line, something that’s always important to me is that they offer decently accurate cooler tones. I’d say Neutrogena def does better w/that than L’Oréal & even Maybelline. It’s always been a challenge finding shades that are truly pinky & cool, not just labeled cool (& they’re actually very yellow or orange-y. So kudos to Neutrogena for that? But no drugstore brand makes a better cool toned foundation than CoverGirl, specifically the TruBlend line. It’s thee only brand that I’ve ever found a total shade MATCH - no matter how pale or tan I am! There’s a shade match for me if I’m ghostly or super tan! They’ve just always been good at hitting those undertones just right! bcz usually, brands create shades that they’re LABELING “cool” but the reality is that they’re not testing shades on skin tones that are TRULY cool. That’s why they always look super yellow on me or if I need something darker bcz I have a tan, it’s this really bizarre peach color. Peach is not a cool undertone! Peach is peach! It’s very frustrating being so limited. But I can wear the Neutrogena Healthy Skin but CG TruBlend or CG clean Makeup have those pink shades NAILED!
