How To Fix Shifter Play/ Slop - Replacing Shift Bushings

Here's a pretty universal video for manual cars on how to fix the shifter play. Of course there can be many causes for this but this is the most common reason, especially on older vehicles!

What’s the thing called that goes at the very end of the shifter rod? That white plastic thing? I thought that was a shifter bushing and not what you showed

Will this guide help me fix my 2013 challenger? An do you think my transmission will be worn alot I’ve been driving with play since I got it from the dealership an I thot that was normal. About 7 months ago but it still drives and shifts nice idk just has some play an I don’t like it
