I've had the same pair of Altbergs since 2013. Changed the insole a few times, but they're still waterproof, comfortable and trusty to this day. Hope to be able to go to their shop one day and get myself a second pair.
They are fantastic boots - wouldn’t have anything else and the value for money is brilliant

Much of the production has been moved out of the UK and Italy.
It took them only a decade or so to start outing a decent sole on their combats
Sadly a lot of the production is in Italy and Eastern Europe!
They do have a factory in Italy because this is where the leather comes from so helps with production costs. However Altbergs owner visits twice a month for a few days each time to monitor production and quality.
