NILES-SIMMONS N30 MC Machining Center for Aircraft Industry

The N30 MC is the latest generation in complete machining with 32 nc-axis altogether. This is a 2 channel machine with a mirrored working area and 4.500mm nominal length.
Workpiece: Turbine Disc
Cycle time: 4hrs. complete machining in one setup
The machine is equipped with:
- 2 B-axis milling heads
- 2 tool changers
- main- and counter spindle
- 288 tool pocktes
- additional grinding function
- additional truing spindel for each channel
- 4x workpiece measuring (2x Renishaw RMP600 / 2x Renishaw
Sprint)
- 3x touch probe and laser measuring systems for tool measuring
and breakage detection in each channel (2x touch probe for
turning tools / 1x laser measuring system for milling tools)

Ich bin selber Dreher (konventionelle Anfertigung) von Beruf, dennoch bin ich von dieser CNC-Steuerung faszinierend. Man muss mittlerweile Dipl. Ing. sein um so eine Maschine zu bedienen zu können. Einfach fantastisch.

I literally said wow. I run Niles but we don't have the run out probe.i check every part with an indicator.
