- Our first true RB4 milestone upload, and uh, yeah, you can imagine why. I was vehemently against doing this considering our rotten luck with the rotten game in a session right before this came out, to the point that the juggernaut of full band difficulty known as Bruno Mars proved too much for our morale. But still, we pushed on. Did we get this day one? Hell no, Nick missed in solo 3 and Chris couldn't make it back up past his solo, which unless you're a total knob, you would know is not actually the hard part, which he was entirely consistent on.
So we tried the next day. And after a way, way late miscellaneous miss on drums (the roll at 16:08), the same damn thing happened; we did that bad EVE song, then I told them to piss off and find another rube to take my place. We compromised and got it the day after I left for my mother's house for the weekend, even though that session's greatest difficulty was getting the session itself to make it past the drum solo. Not in terms of skill, the net stability was just awful that day. But it was basically first try that day, which I think we can all be happy about.
So there you go, did you enjoy the story? My part is piss easy and even then it was a great test of my patience. Considering we've never tried the full 2112, this is by far the longest song we've FBFCed, so spare a thought for everyone else involved, including Chris who I must remind you never missed the tribal breakdown once. Special thanks also go out to RB4 regular bassist Josch, who sat in on the first two sessions even though it was some ungodly hour. And also of course to Keltic for just jumping in and doing it when grappling for a fourth.
But of all of us, I believe the best experience was bestowed upon Nick, who has developed some growth in the valuable art of diplomacy, and hopefully you'll see the fruits of that by the time we hit #2400. :)

@@tylerspielman9309 Rock Band Network. Using tools developed by Harmonix, it allowed artists and labels to create and directly release playable songs to Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3. Due to technical issues and Harmonix reallocating its resources to other projects, RBN support was discontinued in September 2014, and the entire catalog was delisted in February 2018 due to licensing issues. Due to those two issues, no RBN songs carried over to Rock Band 4; some RBN songs have made it into RB4 as regular DLC, but require a new purchase.
henryca03 wow you seem like you know a lot, so hopefully you can answer my next question. I currently play rock band 3 on my ps3, and I want to buy rock band 5 for the ps5. Is there a way I can get all my bought songs on rb5?
@@tylerspielman9309 I honestly don't know if there will even be a RB5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S; however, if you have/get RB4 for PS4 (or PS5 if it is indeed backwards compatible), you should be able to import most of your PS3 library for free so long as you use the same PSN username.
