POTEKAR

Potekar is a traditional festival which existed before 1510 .
It is only celebrated on the island of Divar when the whole world celebrates Carnival.

Divar Island's tradition is welknown. Thanks guys for preserving and continuing it. In all Goan tradions are d oldest and Govt should encourage Goans to preserve it.

Wow Lino for the documentary on our Divar island's traditional festival of 'Potekar'. A fun filled n frightening 3 days for children n adults too. I would suggest u put subtitle in English so the world can understand the meaning. Thank you n God bless
