Hello! I am a 43 years old mexican who has been really enjoying your channel, specially during your stay in Guadalajara. I loved to see you both discovering our city piece by piece, and naturally I love that you loved it. I find it incredible that people like you are helping Mexico by projecting the real face of the country vs all the negative stuff the news focuse on. From a tapatío to two "adopted" tapatíos ... Thank you !! Keep on growing your channel!
What an absolutely delightful comment David. Thanks for taking the time to write that. We are doing our best to show what a beautiful and diverse country Mexico is while we're traveling through it. Means a lot to us that we're considered adopted Tapatios. 😍🤗
You guys….we can’t believe it! Yesterday we hit 1 MILLION views on our channel. Thank you so much for watching our videos and helping us get there. WOW!
I just got proof that I really enjoy your channel, I really thought it was sad to see you go, but I think it worked well for you as you must've reignited interest for those of us that watch it to get a bit of fresh positive side of our country, thank you so much. Oh and I noticed you mentioned some negative comments, you're both great guys and specially, Maddie, you're a sweetheart and don't deserve to be treated rudely . Please don't listen to trolls, and please don't let those negative comments ruin your experience, you're here to give an honest message about your stay here in our country and I think you're doing a wonderful job, keep up the good work.
I love watching your videos, I usually watch you're UA-cam channel before I go to sleep. You changed my negative thoughts to positive thoughts about traveling, thank you thank you...
I just want to say ....i recently went to monterey mexico and it was your videos that pushed me to go...i had a blast and enjoyed the community...thank you
I really like your blog... my girlfriend did the same but she traveled from Oregon to Leon, Guanajuato... watching this videos now I understand all the struggle she has related to my culture!! Thanks a lot!!
As a new subscriber just wanted to let you know that you guys are doing an AMAZING job on all your videos. Both of you are great videographers and speakers. Keep up the great work. I LOVE YOUR DOG!!!
OMG! heartbreak! Im glad you guys had a good time here and really hope you guys have a great time wherever youre going... snif! Happy trails and may the universe smile upon you... see you around some time! namasté!
Hahahahaha if "gong that bell" was a disc, Maddie just scratched it hahaha. Sorry about the cough Maddie. Hope you feel better now? I was really surprised when i first watched the video in the early minutes, you got me there bout moving. I was already playing in my head where you could be moving to, why and all. Jordan's not wanting to speak at first got me more worried because i felt something really happened. So sorry you had to move. This apartment is actually really small and cute. Love everything about it and the gardens too. I hope Laska would cooperate with it since she has found a way to open the door. Hahahahaha. I hope you guys love this new one and have more fun with this. This is a new challenge since you are new to another area of Guadalajara. I can't wait to see what you find out there. You must have had a very busy day packing. I did too. Too busy a day. Stay good great people. I am always rooting for you.
Thanks for not leaving Guadalajara i wont feel so lonely, i was born amd raise in socal and i resently move to Guadalajara with the family i think live here is much better and also cost of leaving is way cheaper than California, i also recommend you guys to visit el parian if you havent yet is a great place to spend an afternoon.
We aren't leaving GDL just yet! We love it here. 😍 Laska is really enjoying the backyard and also the park across the street. Thanks for the compliment, that is so sweet of you!
Sorry to hear you're getting "negative comments". Eff the haters. It's great that you're going to go explore somewhere else, though! I am looking forward to my travels in Oaxaca City, Monterrey and Play del Carmen! Explore and soak it in!
I’m a tapatío living in the USA 🇺🇸, (North Carolina) i enjoy your videos so much guys! ..you seem to be having such a good time ! & you walking the streets , brings me flashbacks of my teenage years ! (I’m an only child & for some reason I loved to walk for hours at a time with my headphones 😂) one of my favorite walks was from la catedral to La Minerva ! Be safe guys!!
Negative comments? Seriously, I "don't get" some people. I am so sorry, but try to ignore the naysayers and negative crap. My hunch is that those negative comments are from those who are jealous of your lifestyle and want it but don't see how to make it happen. However, you give us all hope!
You guys are amazing!!! Lol I love Guadalajara!! I was born there but currently live in California i travel there as much as possible to visit family and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy seeing the city in your videos! Keep it up grow your Chanel and your brand 😁😁👌👍👍
If you need to merge into the right lane in Mexico, have your passenger stick his arm out the window, smile and ask permission to merge. In my experience other drivers in Mexico ALWAYS let you in if you ask nicely. Oh, and I like the hat!
We need to try these trusty Mexican methods. We've seen a lot of people do that and it does seem to be pretty effective. ;) Also thanks for the compliment Curtis!
I mean I love you guys and this vlog, but Laska's just amazing in this one - haha! I'm happy "leaving" didn't meant quitting and you guys will keep making us laugh the natural way. The hat looks super cute on you, Maddie - well just as everything does :-) Biggest hugs to my favorite Spanglish travelers xxx
I watch so many channels of Gringitos living in Mexico/moving to Mexico and all I ever think is, "why am I still in the U.S?" The love you have for Mexico and my people warms my heart. Keep showing the world how beautiful Mexico is. Hopefully one day soon I'll get to enjoy it. Be well!
Im actually impress to see you guys supporting the local stuff you went to the "La borra del Cafe" is like the mexican version of starbucks or least similar.
Time to binge watch the videos that I missed when I was in Juarez!! I gave them all a Like because I know I'm going to like them, but now I get to actually watch them yaaay!!! I missed you guys!!
Good! You still have a lot to visit before moving, lots of places close by, huasteca potocina, lago de camecuaro, laguna Santa maría del oro, guanajuato, manzanilla de la paz, and so on!
Tangerine Travels lago de camecuaro is located in zamora Michoacán, beautiful lake, it's 4 mts deep, and all the bottom has is covered on roots from the trees surrounding! Going in on car is only 50 pesos! Laguna Santa Maria del oro used to be a volcano, it's inactive now, and it sank, so it's a 1.5 mile diameter lake with 60 mts deep! Very beautiful, weather is nice, and you can rent the resort of Santa María resort for the day if you don't want to stay, it's under 200 pesos, and you can kayak! Manzanilla de la paz is a very calm nice town with a natural Forrest, very beautiful dam so laska can go and run, the air is very clean and people very friendly, I believe there are some cabins on air bnb to spend the night, early morning is very nice there, and in guanajuato there is a natural thermal water themed hotel, very relaxing, and also the museum with some iconic mummy's, also shoes and leather items are very cheap there!
Just discovered your wonderful blogs. Glad you are enjoying Guadalajar and it's wonderful people. You are doing an awesome job reporting the gringo experience in Mexico . Best wishes and continued success.
You fooled me!! My heart sank a bit when I saw the title and notification!! I am glad you are still in Mexico and Guadalajara, too bad for that Airbnb landlord but hopefully that won't happen again (at least not in the same way). Moving on; 4th of July is not really celebrated in Mexico, at least not in the central/south however! I suppose you guys know of 5 de mayo, but what you might not know is that 5 May is only one battle victory in one city (Puebla). The real Mexican festivities are in the days 15/16 of September the equivalent of your 4th July, so just for you to be prepared for parades, fireworks, facepainting and well, it would be really cool if you guys could get a Mexican football team shirts, and maybe small one for laska. Don't forget to get the mariachi sombreros before the prices go up due the festivities. Keep going strong guys!!! I love your channel!! PS. Maddie you ROCK that cap! As always, and I hope I don't offend Jordan, you look gorgeous.
We wouldn't pack up and leave Mexico _that_ easily! haha. We thought the 4th of July thing would be a stupid/funny joke since there's no reason Mexicans would celebrate that. We cannot WAIT for the 15/16 of September though. We've practically been counting down the days. P.S. We will totally look out for some sombreros and whatnot. Also, Laska definitely needs her own jersey. 😋
Monica Quintana A sombrero or a even a cap its not such a bad idea. The sun in Guadalajara is fierce, I use a fisher's cap from Columbia that I can fold and save in my poach, and take out in the sun. Anyway, they come from Arizona they know better.
Damn, had me fooled. I was worried something bad happened to you guys. Glad you’re still in GDL. So much to see still. The hat looks good on you. Love the color.
I thought you guys were leaving Guadalajara aka: La Perla Tapatia, Guanatos not to be confused with Guanajuato lol. Seriously I am glad you guys didn't leave my beautiful city. I was born there, but sadly I only been back there twice since we moved to the Fairfield CA near San Francisco. I loved your channel it makes me feel like I there rediscovering Guadalajara. Good job and Laska is awesome.
Plenty of nice folk are enjoying your channel! Like me, and now my husband over by Ajijic right now! Hat is cute and healthier than sun block Thanks Mad-Jor👏
Definitely healthier than all the crap they put in sunscreen to give you cancer. ;) So glad you're enjoying our channel Jaen! Thank you for the lovely comment 🤗
Will be visiting GDL very first time in Nov. I know U Maddie and Jordan have since moved out of GLD long ago, but hoping/wishing one day I might have the opportunity to meet you both.
I thought you were headed back to the USA. You duped me, but I am glad you are staying in MX. Been following your adventures for over a month now and i am hooked. Say hello to Laska for me, lol
Can't get us out of Mexico that easily. ;) Hehe! Hope you got a little chuckle out of this video still. We'll give Laska some good belly rubs from you. She'll love it!
Marzipan and Mazapán are two different things the first is mainly used in baking etc cakes. If you look at a de la rosa it says dulce de cacahuete estilo Mazapán
1st time ever commenting on your channel. Just wanted to let you both know we appreciate your videos. I was born in Michigan but grown in Califiornia. Happy fourth guys. 😎👍🇺🇸 ... oh and u should go celebrate Mexican independents day on Sept 16 at the "zócalo". Great experiencias. 🇮🇹
Maddie you look awesome in your new cap. All you need now is some cool gold 😎 shades to accent the pretty gold 🌟 on your cap and just pull your hair back in a ponytail and pull it through the back opening of the cap and you'll look so FrEsH. ~Still don't you both forget to apply some 🌞 block!!
Not hitting the road out of Mexico just yet! Hopefully not for a long time. ;) Thanks for the compliment Oscar! Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday as well!
You guys are staying a few blocks away from my all time favorite Tortas Ahogadas! Be sure ti try them out, Tortas Ahogadas el Arabe at Ignacio Carrillo street.
Mind if I ask a question? I've never stayed in an air B & B that I know of--I think I spelled it wrong--and I'm thinking of going to San Blas for a few months and I'd like to get a place that has a kitchen and hopefully a place that I can barbecue outside. I lived down there a long time ago for next-to-nothing and I'd like to do it this time for less than a thousand a month including food. Is air B & B the way to go?--or would you suggest something else? Thanks.
oh girl you look cute in anything:) i dont wear hats, but after arriving in merida, i need a hat for sure...i have to do catch up on last couple of days, since i have been busy with my own move to mexico, i think of you two daily, my laundry baskets that you turned me on too:) wow how you all manage, ive been here 4 days and very confusing trying to figure out things here, when we have spent years in vallarta, you two make it look way easier than it is....
Aww Connie, thank you! 😍Definitely find yourself a hat, the sun in some places of Mexico seems to be a whole lot more skin scorching than what we're used to in the US. That's so great you're enjoying that laundry basket. It's one of the coolest items we've ever bought! :) _you two make it look way easier than it is_ Now that's gotta be one of the biggest compliments of all! Sometimes we feel like the biggest idiots trying to navigate the culture but it's nice to know it doesn't seem like that. 😋Feel free to send us a message if you're really struggling with something. We're happy to help if we can!
well.. the way people talk in Mérida is waaaaay different from the people in PV/Guadalajara.. Locals often use some mayan words like "boxito" (little kid), "nohoch" (big) that noone else uses outside Yucatán.. Also, the houses there usually have a 3 knob system for the shower (instead of the most common Hot/Cold knobs).. the 3rd knob (the middle one) usually works to stop the water flow without closing/opening the other two.. a lot of hamacas also, and a loooot of heat..
oh edson, so its not just this studio with 3 knobs? took me a sec to figure out:) i love pv but glad we came here, it forces me not to be lazy in learning the language
you do make it look alot easier, ugh shopping today for some supplys had to do walmart with not knowing my way around and hubby not here yet, wow could not figure out for the life of me how to pick out the right floor clearner or dish soap and i hope what i bought was close to half and half . so here i havent seen any gringos in 4 days, well at walmart, several and i smiled and tried to get attention to at least say good afternoon, the few in there just kept there heads down. no smiles nothing. the mexicans see me and my hand in a splint and are there trying to help me take things off shelves for me. i get outside of walmart, unable to get my phone to work for uber, im trying to wave taxi down, a younger mexican man, saw me and stood there 10 mins and helped waved one down, speaks no english, then helped taxi driver load my stuff up and down the stairs, afterwards i tried to tip him and he wouldnt accept, i just wanted to cry when i saw his kindness.
It’ll get easier, promise! Sorry you’re struggling though. That’s the worst part. Especially alone! But damn the kindness and helpfulness of Mexicans is just heartwarming. What an amazing example! 😍😍😍
Don’t forget to visit the Guadalajara Zoo Tonala tlaquepaque downtown Zapopan San Juan de Dios mariachi plaza and Chivas stadium. I missing my city from AZ 👍🏻
I hope you will be visiting more central border towns up North say @1-2 hrs from USA. I'd like to move my dog and cat rescue but, must be near USA and I've heard of security issues.
Hats are all good sweetie, enjoy! wear sunscreen güerita!! muy importante! Thank you for sharing you vlog of Guadalajara. If i may say, never 'ingest' the negative comments of others and remember this is your journey. Stay Blessed .
Love your videos, and please dont listen to the negative comments its usually people that either have nothing better to do or live a sad life. So please keep making your videos that alot of people enjoy them as myself. Welcome mexico!!!
Great job guys. You may want to consider eating at 'sacromonte', you will find excellent fusion/mexican food there. And the place has a very traditional look. I'd love to see a video about that place.
Thanks Carlsons! Looks like you guys love to travel too. Are you in Madrid still? We recently visited there and loved it. No better paella in the world. :)
The cap is cute, anyways worry more about protection than looks. Why do you mercury detox? The left turn from the right is Mexico, if it is busy you go to the right till it is open then go left. Lasko is just a talker, not freaking out. Talk to her about what is going on she will be happy.
4th of July is one of the most festive celebration in the US. What’s your favorite celebration in Mexico?
I am currently in Nuevo Laredo MX which puts me across the river from Texas. People here light up fireworks and such in celebration of July 4th. FYI - Alaska is AWESOME!
Tangerine Travels Please don't Leave Stay Together en Guadalajara please
Day of the dead....
I like day of the dead, but they don't do much of it here in the north. I also like La Guelagetza in Oaxaca. and sorry guys no one celebrates the 4th in Mexico. Our independence day is Sept 16th.

marzipan is made of almonds, when spanish brought it to mexico, we changed almonds for peanuts and call it mazapan.
Damn, had me fooled. I was worried something bad happened to you guys. Glad you’re still in GDL. So much to see still. The hat looks good on you. Love the color.
Estoy de acuerdo con ustedes. Las glorietas son como una pesadilla. Ánimo chicos, van muy bien.
Tenemos mucho respeto por los conductores en esta ciudad por eso.
Wait for September 16th, Mexico's Independence Day and you'll see what a real party is :)
Yeahhh!! 😃you are staying a little longer... You guys our great!!!👍😊✌️💖🙏

You're adorable in that hat, and you're both such great dog-parents.
Real nice hat. if you added a little orange car, you could sell lots of those. I would buy one.
You guys are just beyond cute! Thank you so much for your videos!!

Marzipan and Mazapán are two different things the first is mainly used in baking etc cakes. If you look at a de la rosa it says dulce de cacahuete estilo Mazapán
No worries, the hat is GREAT!
I wanna change the house to yours!! It looks pretty!
~Still don't you both forget to apply some 🌞 block!!
rain is good, what would you do without it ?
Buenos días! You got me fooled lol, I’m glad you guys are sticking around and the hat looks good on you. Que tengan un excelente día!
Not hitting the road out of Mexico just yet! Hopefully not for a long time. ;) Thanks for the compliment Oscar! Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday as well!
So Happy you still in Guadalajara😍 i wish i can stay at least 2 months there😕..
You guys are staying a few blocks away from my all time favorite Tortas Ahogadas! Be sure ti try them out, Tortas Ahogadas el Arabe at Ignacio Carrillo street.
Would be nice for you guys if you had a small trailer to haul behind to haul all your goodies.
_you two make it look way easier than it is_
Now that's gotta be one of the biggest compliments of all!
I noticed you guys live by Parque de las Estrellas, I work right in front of the park, at the WTC.
I hope you will be visiting more central border towns up North say @1-2 hrs from USA. I'd like to move my dog and cat rescue but, must be near USA and I've heard of security issues.
This weekend my friends and I are going to Vallarta, and it would be really awesome if you guys came.
Thanks for the offer! We have to change to another Airbnb this weekend, unfortunately (long story) but maybe next time!
Hats are all good sweetie, enjoy! wear sunscreen güerita!! muy importante! Thank you for sharing you vlog of Guadalajara. If i may say, never 'ingest' the negative comments of others and remember this is your journey. Stay Blessed .
Did y’all drive to Mexico? Take your dog with you?
Good luck in your new place, glad to see you two or should I say three looking and feeling great
We won't be here long, but thank you very much :)
Oh man. You got me hajahajahjaahaj.
Glad you're still here and GONG that bell!
Love your videos, and please dont listen to the negative comments its usually people that either have nothing better to do or live a sad life. So please keep making your videos that alot of people enjoy them as myself. Welcome mexico!!!
The hat is cute.... Best to keep that sun off your head.
You guys got me for a minute! Glad to continue seeing your videos in gdl.
We love GDL! Can't leave quite yet ;)
Great job guys. You may want to consider eating at 'sacromonte', you will find excellent fusion/mexican food there. And the place has a very traditional look. I'd love to see a video about that place.
This channel is growing and growing so fast!
Querétaro and my home is still waiting for you!! Love the hat! Lol
Your dog is so cute!
Thanks Carlsons! Looks like you guys love to travel too. Are you in Madrid still? We recently visited there and loved it. No better paella in the world. :)
The hat looks great on you Maddie🙂
Thanks amigo! I appreciate the compliment!
Every year when taking down the Christmas tree, I always leave an ornament. No matter how hard I try.
You are really close to where i live. Plaza del sol is near if you need anything. If you want any tips about the area ask me.
Me encanta su canal. Espero algún día se den una vuelta por el norte del país. U. U
The cap is cute, anyways worry more about protection than looks. Why do you mercury detox? The left turn from the right is Mexico, if it is busy you go to the right till it is open then go left. Lasko is just a talker, not freaking out. Talk to her about what is going on she will be happy.
Nice hat Maddie. I love it!
You guys are great!
You guys are my new favorite! . By the way that cap suits you great.
Mexico is such a beautiful country N people.
Love your dog !!!!
😱😱😱
You turkeys!!!...you got me!
🤘😎🤘
WTH? why do people dislike the video? muy bien tangerines!
Maybe they don't have a sense of humor 😳😋Thanks for having our backs Mad Orc!
Wait. So are you guys going back to the other place?
Yep, we'll be coming back to this place. Our landlord just rented out a week without realizing that we wanted to stay longer.
OMG, you're in my old neighborhood! Or at least very near it. Getting some nostalgia u_u Enjoy!
Good God !!!! you guys are okay !!! 😝😝😝 you guys scare me! 😁😁😁😁😁😁
