Have you ever had an issue where that mount would slew in the completely wrong direction?

Hey mate I have, but that’s usually if I’ve had a power outage or have been fiddling with something. I always send it to the home position and adjust it if I need to, then do another polar alignment. That’s always fixed it :)

nice work mate, i photographed the cats paw myself last night and i am shooting the omega nebula as i type this

Nice work on the paw meowate very nicely done. It's not the most colourful nebula I found though this ad the lobster are always a little bland compared to say, Carina

Thanks mate, yep definitely agree there. The structures are great but you can’t do much with colours. At least it cuts down my editing time 😂
