Thanks for the reaction. Although what i mean is another zaku vs tank video from the same series ua-cam.com/video/wtfjxDFtHHY/v-deo.htmlsi=ZfBqg4erJ7W7dKuO
The weapon that the Zaku II had at time 2:30, is called a Sturm Faust. It is a single use weapon. It is basically a rocket on a stick, but with a lot of explosive power behind it. It is a very simple anti Mobile Suit and anti Ship weapon that any mobile suit can use as long as the hand can pull the trigger.
@@WadeWadeReacts True, one stray hit and it goes off. The Earth Federation made their own Sturm Fausts, but called them "clubs" due to their shape. They renamed them due to how the Sturm Faust is associated with Zeon Mobile Suits
it's base on the Panzer Faust (Tank Fist in English) made by the Germans in world war 2. the Panzer Faust is made for taking out tanks and it's the bases for the Modern RPG
The tank gets left behind for a few months until an all-female Zeon squad recovers it and cannibalizes the turret for a custom dom, called the MS-09[NF] Dom Gnomides. They also recovered the pilot's body from the wreck and had a funeral for him.
@@theSpartan187 Thanks for the update. Glad the pilot got recovered and had a funeral. Was that in the episode? I don't remember him having a funeral? Maybe I need to watch that episode again.
@@WadeWadeReacts No, that was in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy(GBO Code Fairy) game. A spin-off game of the Gundam Battle Operation(GBO). That game has one of the sickest Kampfer aka Titania with such a beautiful and elegant fire booster in a mobile suit other than Gundam. If I remember correctly, they found the tank in an operation or it was their mission to retrieve it and repurpose it into a new mobile suit, I think. I can't remember the details since it has been a while.
Yep the pilots of the Zaku II are actually fake. Those are actually EFSF pilots that more like captured and pretended to be Zeon soldiers The YMT-05 Hildolfr a Prototype Transformable Artillery Ground Mobile Weapon develop into the MS-09[NF] Dom Gnomides and MT-05J Hildolfr Wilde Sau piloted by Demeziere sonnen for weapons it has a 30cm Main Cannon and a 105mm Machine Gun and a 120 Machine Gun Though I did kinda like the idea of fake pilots that’s very cool
@NeoXNeo2007 I was wondering if D-50C Loto was connected to the YMT-05 Hildolfr in anyway, but so far there's no info. Checked the fandom wiki and they do compare the two, so who knows...
@ the two units are not even a single bit related to each other the Loto was made in 0094 U.C. and the reason why it is so small is because it’s also for the fact that really is considered as one of the earliest MS to be mineralize and operator by ECOAS which mostly acts as a secret group in EFSF so that’s why not much is known about the Loto And The Hildolfr was first seen in May 0079 U.C. And the reason why it is so big is because it has a Minovsky Fusion Reactor and that’s the reason it’s so big because I got time they have still not miniaturize a powerful generator enough If you want a closer comparison and a even more closer history of the MS then look at the YMS-16M Xamel and the Hildolfr those two units are more closer than you think in a strange way
it is most definitely a thing that you can trace the ancestry of a mobile suit. Perfectly good example is how Neue Ziel(0083) and Alpha Azieru(Char's Counterattack) are descended from the mobile armor Char uses in the manga Char's Deleted Affair, and even they have their own variants
MS IGLOO is quite a underrated series, alot of people dont like it because of th3 usage of CGI and the character expression isnt great but the combat scenes in this are bloody amazing and the story is quite interesting with the first part of the series focuses on a Zeon Experimental Squadron testing out different kinds of weapons with the Hildolfr here^ being one such Experimental weapon piloted by a a artillery officer who to say atleast felt depressed that the artillery role was being sidelined by Mobile Suits, the second part of MS IGLOO Focuses on the Federation side which again has pretty outstanding combat scenes. Final fact: As someone else mentioned the Hildolfr was recovered eventually but wasn't until November that it was recovered by a all female Zeon Mobile Suit Team who's Team Leader almost lost their lives thabks to a very vengeful Gundam Pilot but nevertheless the Hildolfr Cannon and Sonnen's Body was recovered and the spirit of thw Hildolfr continued on till the end of the war
