The walk beside your loved one, on their way to give the ultimate gift of life, must be the longest and most difficult walk a person can make. It's knowing that God is walking beside you, that helps each step be taken. And when the walk end, God is still there, with you, as you begin the journey through grief. And may Brian's spirit forever be a reminder of how precious the gift of life is.
Nia the Gulf Gypsy having been there with my younger brother and my niece I can tell you it truly is the hardest, longest walk I’ve ever done. They were both killed by a drunk driver on the Fourth of July in 2013 which was also my niece Kenya’s 7th birthday. My sister-in-law was at one hospital and I was at the other. We played musical hospitals for 24 hours and I don’t think either of us slept at all. And she was pregnant at the time as well. We put my brothers procedure off by a day because she went into labor the day after Kenya’s and she didn’t want their sons birthday to be filled that kind of pain. But we had comfort knowing that other people wouldn’t be going through the pain of losing a child or son or brother.
@@mcrchickenluvr I am so sorry for the pain a drunk driver inflicted onto you and the lives of your family. So many things defy any understanding and I constantly remind myself that we are truly all of God's children and He alone understands the reason of why things are as they are. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I believe that when a person sacrifices themselves to save others, that person is elevated from hero to Superhero.
You’re a hero son… yes, yes you are and my heart broke hearing those words come out of Brian’s dads mouth. I’m crying so hard watching this, I don’t know why I do this to myself because watching these videos move me and sometimes reduces me to tears. Everyone I’m close to is aware that should I be in this position they haven’t to give it a seconds thought, just take everything they can from me to help as many people as I can… It’s truly the last kind act you can do in your time on earth. I also have it on my driving licence just in case… in case of what, I’m not sure but I don’t want any doubts surrounding my final wishes. Organ donation is tremendously important, but sometimes the circumstances aren’t right which means they’ll always be less donors and far too many recipients waiting for that life-changing call. I implore everyone watching this video to make your wishes clear to everyone around you and don’t think that you have years or decades to worry about donating, because no one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow. No one. Sit the people in your life down and tell them that you want to be an organ donor, and make it as clear as you possibly can because should the time come when you’re in Brian’s position your grieving family might make the wrong decision because they were never told in no certain terms what your wishes were. A lifelong friend of mine in January 2020 went to work with a ‘fuzzy’ headache and within hours he was in hospital in the operating theatre where he sadly died. His mother gave permission for his organs to be donated because he was the type of guy who would have wanted to help, and he really did. But many people say they don’t like the idea of having their loved one ‘chopped to pieces’ and that’s what prevents many people from donating… no one should think like that. The process of donation is respectful and done with much care and love, and IT SAVES LIVES… and you might not think it at the time when you’ve lost your loved one, but donating their organs is the best kind of comfort anyone can take from a premature death
I do hope this gives some comfort to the families who must be devastated at the loss of their loved one,but at least good for others comes out of their sacrifice.
These honor walks are so heartbreaking. Not only for the people watching it but also for the parents and the families. You have my sincere condolences.
My brother passed in 2010, He was a registered donor but couldn’t donate because his organs had failed due to liver cancer!😢 I got a call from the people that manage the donor list, thanking us for his decision to be a donor even though he was not able to donate. I cried when they called, I never knew he was a donor. I registered as an organ donor the next week. RIP Danny Villa
I've always said, I'm not going to need them after I'm gone so let someone else who does, have them! Been part of the program from the first time I got my license. Bless this giving man's family, may they find peace in his gift of life!

Brian seemed like a young man filled with love, kindness and a joy of life. Surely those gifts will forever be with all those he loved and who loved him.
May God hold you in His embrace, always.
My all the love and precious memories of your brother and sweet Kenya fill you heart so full, there is no room for pain.
Blessings Be

As a parent and grandma I can’t imagine the heart ache theses parents are going through.
So Amazing, very beautiful may God be with him all the time and his family🙏✝️🥰
God bless his family
R I P BRIAN YOU ARE REALLY HERO.TO BRIAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS YOUR SON AND FRIEND HE WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON LOVE TO YOU AL YVETTE FROM THAMES NZ

Each one of these breaks my heart but renews my hope for mankind
My condolences to the family. God bless Brian for giving others a chance at life through his gift. May he rest R.I.P.😢
