Mathew you are getting out ahead on reporting.
I want to encourage you to keep up the good work, broad spectrum, data oriented, very fast direct personalized interactions,
      with new demos.
You don’t dwell, or force your perspective or ideologies on your audience.
      Thank you.
I have subscribed to your channel ow because of what you do very well.
      Thank you.
To be clear, there are others that I depend on for their deep take and broad spectrum opinions of all things AI related.
I personally depend on them to take the time and give deep perspective that cant be rushed.
Your work, adds to me like another “highly valued board member “ in my world.
In my world…. I am responsible for the well being of all I can be.
No matter how small, or crazy, or misdirected I may be… I am responsible.
I am aware that I depend on great advisors to inform me in all areas of life.
So I look for them, and this is such an easy platform to find them… if you stay focused and watch the algorithms that are programmed to distract from the missions I set out.
AI development is something that must remain very current and accurate.
      This is hard to do.
Thanks to you sir, for your fast hard work getting info out that isn’t horribly wrong.
This role will get harder, but I have confidence in you. :)
      Take care
      Jeremy.

🧑 *How will Apple use OpenAI's models without sending user data to OpenAI via their API?*
🤖 Apple plans to integrate OpenAI's models into its new "Apple Intelligence" system while maintaining strict privacy controls:
*1.* On-device processing: Many AI tasks will be handled locally on Apple devices using optimized models, avoiding the need to send data to the cloud.
*2.* Cloud processing with privacy safeguards: For more complex AI tasks requiring personal context, Apple will use cloud servers but with privacy protections in place.
*3.* User consent required: Users must explicitly allow each request to use OpenAI's servers before any data is sent.
*4.* No data storage by OpenAI: Apple states that OpenAI will not store user requests or data.
*5.* IP address obfuscation: User IP addresses will be obscured when interacting with OpenAI's systems.
*6.* No model training on user data: By default, OpenAI will not train its models on Apple user data.
*7.* Limited availability: The OpenAI integration will only be available on newer devices with M-series chips or iPhone 15 Pro models.
*8.* Opt-out option: Users can choose not to use the OpenAI-powered features at all.
While some concerns remain about potential data exploitation, Apple emphasizes that user control and privacy are top priorities in this partnership.

As always, super job Matthew 🎉 I agree that the paradigm around how software is created and how we'll be interfacing with computers is going to radically change soon.
But, right now, I'm just trying to get my software engineering colleagues to try out a coding assistant😂 Heads in the sand. I appreciate you helping to get folks to pay attention to what's here and what is inevitable.

I think that developers of some sort *will* be needed in ten years. Someone will still need to tell the AI precisely what to do. It's one thing to have the AI code 'snake', but what about if you want the snake to change colours every gulp according to a specific algorithm? Do What I Mean doesn't exist.

perplexity is 100times better then base ChatGPT and Claude with perplexity offers both. the trade off though is not being able to create your own chagpt agent or Claude project but it offers all the same thing. and its just better without the biases from chatgpt

Skeleton Key is interesting. The video I'd like to see - an explanation of guardrails.
With AI, we often don't know what's going on internally, hence the development of explainable AI (XAI). But guardrails use deterministic rules, as opposed to the probabilistic soup of neural nets. I'd like to see some block diagrams & explanations. How far into the LLM do the guardrails go? Are there any formal architectures for guardrails?

I do not think developers will necessarily be obsolete. A paradigm shift simply means the approach will significantly change. Yes, traditional development will be eradicated, however, plenty of opportunities will arise from this computing paradigm for developers.

Point is things change and change usually comes with new opportunities for developers. It is all about adapting and upskilling to accommodate the shift in the industry.

Way better than openai speech mode for the insanely small budged team and the model if it was GPT 4o would benefit massively from this

In the fast-paced world of AI, it seems like Apple and Microsoft are playing a high-stakes game with OpenAI's board. One minute they're in, the next they're out, faster than you can say "artificial intelligence". Who knows, by the time we finish this sentence, they might have changed their minds again! So, let's all stay tuned for the next episode of this AI saga. Have Fun! 😀
