- This video is not a traditional vlog - it is a compilation of videos of almost all of the new Toyota GR86's and Subaru BRZ's that were on display at Tokyo Auto Salon 2022. I figured this may be a useful video for all new GR86 and BRZ owners to take a look at what companies have already developed and give them an idea of what they may want to have their own cars look like.

I think next year everyone will be focused on the new Fairlady Z. I hope the GR86/BRZ don't get neglected because of this.
@Auto Culture nah the gr86/BRZ has its target audience and caters to a wide audience of enthusiasts. The Gr Supra on the other hand may suffer heavy when the new Z releases.

I don't mean to be that guy but i just wish these things came with I-4s rather than the flat 4s. I would cop one instantly. At least like a higher trim or a special edition with a revised 4a-ge would be nice but 😭😭
@@1.7mviews84 And I'd also like to travel back to the 80's but unfortunately we can't :( I'm just happy we are getting these cars at all, another decade and it will be batteries, and then you'll wish it was still a boxer :P
awesome, I love my 2022 GR 86. Mine is in the steel color, looks really sporty and classy in this color. appears the white and red colors to be popular.

This is my dream car & will buy in 2 years
I really like both the cars front ends, the gr86 is more simple but the brz is more curvy and reminds me of a cayman or something. I think I like the 86 more but they are really both very good looking
I still prefer the GR86 front, but the BRZ one has grown on me much more. It needs a nice front lip to make it look better.

Never really been into cars but I seen an ad of the GR86 and thought to myself I think this car may be calling for me❗️ I have a 1999 Avalon XLS with over 300k miles on it and it runs like it’s a brand new car. Toyota really running the game💯
Gr86 is a Subaru. Your Avalon is more comfortable almost just as fast and is probably paid off lol
@@Mr99Burns who cares, Toyota owns 20% of Subaru anyways, they work together on the engine, and the Avalon is definitely slower and isn’t going to be as tight as a brand new car with 300k miles on it

By saying that you obviously have no clue about cars and driving. At least do some research before you post anything like that. BTW I own 2015 GT86 and it is by far the best handling car I've ever driven. 86 is just pure fun. Ask anybody who drove one.

@@peakreactivesr3504 86/BRZ are engineered for handling. This is pure drivers car. Manual transmission, RWD, LSD, perfect divers position, low centre of gravity. Perfect relatively affordable car if you like real diving. It's definitely not no go car. BTW cars in this video are further tuned and modified. Guys developed those cars know their stuff.
