    Thank you so much for this, they have stopped making my trampoline and am unable to source a suitable replacement mat as all the stitching hold the v rings has deteriorated and the springs are popping off one by one.... kids are gutted, but hopefully , thanks to you mate, i will have 2 happy kids again..... thanks again..

    Thanks so much!! If we only use trampoline inside, which material is tougher and lasts longer: nylon or polyester? A
    nd you said seatbelt webbing? Where do you find these small pieces of cloth? Thank you!!

    My tore right at the seam (where the trampoline meets the outer fabric). Do you think I could sew that as well? It’s about 8” long.

    Thanks for the video. My question is similar to Stephanie Ramirez's. How can I replace a corroded V-Ring where the fabric and stitching that holds the ring is not damaged? In other words, is it possible to replace only the metal ring and not have to bother with stitching a new strap? Of course, I'd have to pry the v-ring open a little to slip the strap through and then close it again. Would that work?

      David McGrath -H- yeah I think if you have big enough pliers then you should be able to. You would want to inspect it over time to make sure the new one isn’t pulling apart.

    Great video, very helpful. I need to fix several of these. I may have missed it, but what type of thread do you use?

    • @spencerhall6475

      So I just used what came in the kit with my sewing awl. It's a high tensile waxed thread.

    So where, at the end, you said you need to stich a new strap on. . .what fabric do you use or where do you get the new strap from? Thank you for the video you have saved me some serious time and money! The kids in my class are going to be so excited that our tampoline is repaired!

    Do you think it is possible to use just a regular sewing (thick for more heavy duty stuff of course) needle to fix it or would you not be able to do the lock stitch with a regular sewing needle? Trying not to spend too much money but if needed I will. This is because I need to sew on 5 ripped (completely or half ripped out) straps along with reinforcing about 6 or so more straps that are all about to rip. Approximately 12 in all

    can u by any chance tell me how to replace the 🔺 rings on the trampoline mat

    • @spencerhall6475
      @spencerhall6475  7 років тому +1

      Well the D-rings do the job just fine whereas the V-rings are harder to source but if you did have V-rings the repair would be the same. Unless I am not understanding what you mean.

    how long did that stitching last?

    • @spencerhall6475
      @spencerhall6475  4 роки тому

      kris r so I have only had one wear out which happened to be located directly under the sprinkler my kids had on the trampoline. So normal rain is a non issue. Sprinklers maybe depending how often. Either way that one lasted about 4 years.
