How to Install DOD ROOT Certificates on your Windows Computer

- In this video presentation, I perform a quick instructional session on how to successfully install DOD Root Certificates onto your Windows 10 (& 11) computers. I hope this helps out.
If I don't have DOD Root CA2 is that ok or is that needed? I am having a problem with being able to login to some sites, but not all.

3 to 6 worked for me. Just had to restart my computer afterward.
yes a simple computer restart afterwards fixed it for me as well
For those of you that are also seeing the tab titled "multi-nss" and are having issues. Down load the dod root ca 3-6 in that tab as well. Everything works for me now even though there was no dod root cac 2 showing for me

it works the same way just about. If you download the root5.5 it'll also tell you how to work it
Im having trouble, i got a cac reader and it still says my certificates dont work. but when i go to the USO it works....

My computer doesn't show dod root ca 2, and jko still doesn't let me log in my personal computer
Use what you see, then restart your computer. This is what worked for me.

There's no damn DoD root CA 2 file in the damn installer
im having a problem to access from home, i got a new cac, and i have new certs in it. At work on mil computers i access anything with no problem, it got updated to DOD ID CA-64, previously i had DOD ID CA 54 i think, well i could see i had a user with my name and dod id linked to that cert, now the DOD ID-64 has nothing linked to it, A user, and i cant figure out how to do that. would you be able to help me?

@@jonahavalos5608 I reseted the entire PC system, re-installed windows. And then re installed the certificates and then it worked.
I can’t install the software because my computer says I need a app to do it this is so frustrating

so i am on my gaming pc, will this inhibit my ability to use my computer for whatever personal things i want to do? or does this just allow me to use my dod things?
The root certificates should run in the background with no effect whatsoever on your gaming system. However, if you do find trouble using your computer after installing them, they're just as easy to Uninstall as they were to install. Hope that helps.
