I’ve knit the wishbone sweater and it was my fastest sweater I’ve ever knit. The twisted rib became such an addictive rhythm! There is some purling through the back loop… it wasn’t fun but it was minimal, only in the section where you knit back and forth for the chest and back areas.
I’ve started knitting the wishbone sweater and I really loved it - only stopped bc it’s getting very warm and my hands are getting sweaty with the yarn. I’ll pick it up again when the weather cools down. I used a smaller needle on my left hand to help me knit the tbl’s faster (including the purls). Hope this helps!
I think it really doesnt matter if you say fall or autumn, as for me. What matters is a great selection of patterns, and they are here, in this video, thank you for that 💗
On my needles is Smoke the sweater…thanks to you I’m knitting this gorgeous sweater for myself in Rowan kidsilk haze in a Smokey grey color which I love! And then will knit it in a green kid silk haze for my 23 year old daughter for her college graduation gift. I showed her your sleeve addition to the pattern and she loved it so much!❤ I so enjoy your podcasts so thank you for continued inspiration.
woah, the prima pullover is absolutely perfect. just bought my first knitting pattern! and realized all my favorite knits ive seen on pinterest have been from starcrossed knits
This video makes it so hard for me right now. Because i found a lot of wool in my moms home and now i could make all the pattern . But all the pattern are so beautiful .... Thank you for the video.
Great list- thank you. As you live in the UK it’s definitely Autumn. The Marie Wallin knits I’ve made use just two colours per row and the charts are easy to follow. I’ve recently cast on a Darling cardigan by Kutovakika in Sandnes Garn Kos- so fluffy!
One my needles is a mitten! I’m making the Ruukkatarha Mitts by Anna Johanna and I’m loving it. It’s been so nice to see immediate progress with the color work as opposed to working hours on something to only gain a few inches like my other projects.
currently knitting a blouse no 01 in olive as my first autumn project and next up is the disaster top by lepull! got some yarn for this on my trip to copenhagen and I‘m beyond excited to get started! and thanks for showing the olympe vest, I should check my scraps because I really wanted to knit a vest the next months too! :)
Thank you for another wonderful podcast! I love your selection of fall/ autumn patterns. I’m always happy with the inspiration it brings. I am working on the Kuutar tee by Sari Nordlund and knitting it with drops Belle. Love the yarn! It does split a bit but it feels so nice on my hands, much softer than the 100% cottons I’ve knit with this summer. I’m making a Kuutar with long sleeves (as I have seen on the Ravelry page) so I can wear it in fall and spring and on chilly summer days. O I still have the wishbone on my needles since last winter, I’m on sleeve island and don’t know what to do, frog of finish. The yarn I chose is drops air and I don’t think that’s the best choice. Also i made the ribbing on the neck a bit too long for my liking. So frog or finish….decisions decisions….😏
I am currently knitting the “Step by step cardigan” by Handmade by Florence. Loved this video - many designs that I had never seen before. Fell in love with the Solene cardigan - I would love to make it in raspberry color for next summer 🥰
I test knit Star Crossed Knits' Prima Pullover and it was sooo fun- highly recommend. I used Lily Kate France's Axis yarn which worked beautifully, so it was basically a full knitting UA-camr experience ❤
Currently knitting the Square Neck Camisole by Garn Og Slikt. I feel like this will be such a great layering piece as I'm making it in white! I'm also so obsessed with the Prima pullover and do want to make that ASAP
Wow, I love the Betty Blouse 😍 Currently I just finished the knitting on a Zipper sweater for my Hubby (just need to sew in the zipper) and am knitting on a Puro Cardigan in Noro yarn
Full length knit cardigan is certainly a bucket list project - it would be so amazing! I'm currently knitting the Totally Tubular Tank by Park & Knit... so excited for this and I think it'll also be a great transition piece. Definitely check it out if you haven't seen it yet.
The kfo Madeleine Sweater is currently on my needles. It‘s my first buttom up construction and I really love it so far! (I‘m some rows away from kitchener stitching the shoulder seams…) But after hitting gauge and measuring one of my other sweaters I decided to shorten it by a whole pattern repeat (and it will not even be a cropped sweater now) because it‘s a really long sweater. I knit it in drops belle and my only regret is that I will eventually not get a lot of wear out of it before the colder weather arrives… But it‘s so incredibly beautiful ❤❤❤ go for it
It's spring in Australia, but luckily in Melbourne it's cold enough on some days to still wear warmer knits 💕 On my needles is the Lou Genser from a Sandnes Garn pattern book. On my way to order ROWS knitwear's new book 👀👀
I’m testing the upcoming “Skye” cardigan by Stefania in “Willow” in the super soft holst! I love that color so much. I’m happy you detailed the wishbone sweater! It’s always caught my eye when I’ve seen it! I’m super into red garments too! Great episode! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Celine, yet another wonderful video with beautiful inspo! Your style is so feminin and classy, I love it 🥰 Currently working on the Terracotta Sweater by Leknit! Greetings from Norway ⛄️
you should consider the SEO value of both fall and autumn by looking at their search volume, and go with the one that will generate the most trafic :) love your picks also!
This September, I've started knitting my first "dopamine dressing" piece: The free pattern of the Popple Bandana (a triangular scarf with an 8-row repitition) in two Halloween-coded colors: Filcolana Merci in "Filur" (a muted but light orange color) and "Lead" (the darkest grey available for this yarn)! :) Looks like it will not only be ready in time for spooky season but turned out to be a piece which can be easily completed within one weekend of knitting!
We use either Fall or Autumn, in various parts of the US. We know what you mean, so don’t worry about it! Great list. Your pattern: Cozy Rainbow Cardigan.
I am also a dog person, but have recently started fostering cats and it has been a dream. So now I am constantly torn between my two loves....anyway, on my needles is The Simple Knit Hood by Lia Lykke per your recommendation! I'm on the i-cord edging (new skill for me!), so I'm almost done!
I'm definitely a cat person.. Lady, don't worry about your accent or where you come from, be yourself. Autumn is a fine word, very nice. Fall is a Lovely word too because it conjures in the imagination exactly what is happening... we have fallen from the heat of the summer The leaves are falling. The temperatures have fallen The year is falling towards it's conclusion. The number of day light hours are falling. I had never heard of Holst Gard Good prices, but I'd have to pay too much for transportation. I have enjoyed your video. thank you. I've got three sweaters to finish this fall. Two crochets and one knit one. I'd love to try to weave one. I've been making scrap sweaters, lately. I've never considered myself a great knitter.
Currently working on Fantasia Blouse by Lauren Wash, and playing yard chicken on the second sleeve (pray for me so I don't have to order 1 skein just to do ribbing on one sleeve)
I have a bunch of random balls of yarn that are approximately the same weight. I didn't know what to do with them but now I'm wondering if the Hirsholm bomber is the perfect project for it? Maybe???
How did you get an American leaning accent in the UK? Currently on my needles is the Haru sweater and the Easy V which I started last fall and just pulled it out of hibernation. I would love to wear that to Rhinebeck next month. I just finished the Gem sweater by Irene Lin.
wait so random but what colour was the colour of the along avec Anna slipover you saw a girl wear? just because I once walked into the beautiful knitters shop when I was wearing my navy primrose slip over and you were working that day but I was to shy to come say hi!! curious whether that was me or not :))
Close to me cardigan is what I am working on right now by lily kate makes…. I am in California and I hear fall and autumn interchangeably so use what you like!
I am 100% a cat person. So with dogs, I have the same thing like you with cats: I don't have a slightest clue what their moods are and how to approach them
I love Holst Garn! I’ve made a sweater holding Holst Garn Coast and Titicaca together and it’s so soft! Currently working on the Moonset Tee in Coast. It’s my go to yarn for garments! And I have plans to make a sweater using Coast with a brushed suri alpaca
I'm currently trying to finish up my Mayball Wrap so I can cast on my latest obsession (the Quinn pullover). I'm in Australia but I don't really knit according to seasonal use because I just cast on whatever inspires me because I love cozy pieces and our summers are not conducive to cozy-piece wearing. Long story short, I chase the dopamine knits 😂
Another vote for Autumn! It really depends on if you use English (general) or English (American). Everyone who speaks English outside of North America uses Autumn. That being said, if you tend towards other American English works (trash instead of rubbish; toh-may-to instead of ton-mah-to, etc), it would make sense to use Fall! Realistically, though, we all understand what you are saying and it’s really not that deep :]
On my needles: Ribwave pullover by Joanna Ang. I love all her designs, they are stunning. I wonder why they are not popular in the youtube knitting community, I stumbled upon her designs on ravelry but never heard of her before. P.s. great video, saluti dall'Italia 😊
I’ve knit the wishbone sweater and it was my fastest sweater I’ve ever knit. The twisted rib became such an addictive rhythm! There is some purling through the back loop… it wasn’t fun but it was minimal, only in the section where you knit back and forth for the chest and back areas.
Oohh yay that is amazing to hear!! 😍
As someone who made the Wishbone sweater last fall, I love it! It’s one of my favorite pieces!
It’s SSOO dreamy 😍
I’ve started knitting the wishbone sweater and I really loved it - only stopped bc it’s getting very warm and my hands are getting sweaty with the yarn. I’ll pick it up again when the weather cools down. I used a smaller needle on my left hand to help me knit the tbl’s faster (including the purls). Hope this helps!
For your new design - how about calling it “Fall into Autumn “
Thanks for all the recommendations. The Bomber is fantastic
I'm very excited about that cardi!
Such a lovely happy vlog, thank you❤
I think it really doesnt matter if you say fall or autumn, as for me. What matters is a great selection of patterns, and they are here, in this video, thank you for that 💗

So happy to hear you’re enjoying Stefania’s patterns ❤️❤️ thanks so much for watching ✨
I’m the exact same with cats, I never know how to pet them! So I end up just stood happily next to them
woah, the prima pullover is absolutely perfect. just bought my first knitting pattern! and realized all my favorite knits ive seen on pinterest have been from starcrossed knits

I just found you and I'm subscribing because you are "an Italian grannie in her 20s", I LOVE that description!
aww thank you ahahha 🥰
Thank you for sharing with so good and fresh projects!
I have just discovered your channel, so much awesome inspiration!! Now I will be binge watching💖

Loved this video - many designs that I had never seen before. Fell in love with the Solene cardigan - I would love to make it in raspberry color for next summer 🥰
Florence’s pattern is a staple! And a raspberry Solene sounds like the most perfect thing to ever exist 😍
Fall is the best!!!!
I test knit Star Crossed Knits' Prima Pullover and it was sooo fun- highly recommend. I used Lily Kate France's Axis yarn which worked beautifully, so it was basically a full knitting UA-camr experience ❤
really enjoyed this video ! im currently knitting on my storm sweater for my first fall project
Thank you!!! The storm is such a great fall staple!
Currently knitting the Square Neck Camisole by Garn Og Slikt. I feel like this will be such a great layering piece as I'm making it in white! I'm also so obsessed with the Prima pullover and do want to make that ASAP
The colours in your oversized cardigan reminded me of moonstone. I think that would be a good name for the design.
Wow, I love the Betty Blouse 😍
Currently I just finished the knitting on a Zipper sweater for my Hubby (just need to sew in the zipper) and am knitting on a Puro Cardigan in Noro yarn

Autum sounds right for you❤
I am OBSESSED with Low Tide by Rachel Illsley. I must cast on ASAP
I'm working on the Chantal Sweater by Moreca knit and it's such a dream!

Aw yay so happy to hear you’re testing Skye, I love Stefania, and Holst! Thanks for watching darling ❤️
Hi Celine, yet another wonderful video with beautiful inspo! Your style is so feminin and classy, I love it 🥰
Currently working on the Terracotta Sweater by Leknit!
Greetings from Norway ⛄️
Aw thank you so much, that’s very sweet! The Terracota sweate is SO chic ✨
you should consider the SEO value of both fall and autumn by looking at their search volume, and go with the one that will generate the most trafic :) love your picks also!
Good thinking!!! 🤗
oh my god Celine I saw you at unravel festival!! I loved the vendors, so much amazing beautiful wool!
Aww hope you had the best time ❤️❤️❤️

Autumn 🍂 always ❤
top tier rec list thank you SO much
So glad you liked the pieces 😍😍😍
Idk, I think I've always been a fall girl. I am currently working on the Haze sweater by the knit purl girl.
I want to test knit that cardigan!
Will be writing the pattern next month!
Maybe say neither?? Harvest, or 'ber months knits, or something romantic like the year's sunset??? I love those color cards!!!
I’ve made the Betty, and it’s perfect!
😍😍😍 what colour did you make it in?
@@woozybyceline red. I’m the only completed project on Ravelry for it. 😊
I would call it the ‘cotton candy cardigan’🍬
Autumn definitely
We use either Fall or Autumn, in various parts of the US. We know what you mean, so don’t worry about it! Great list. Your pattern: Cozy Rainbow Cardigan.
Love to say Autumn is romantic🍁🍂
The wrap cardigan you knitted kinda reminds me of bubblegum, just by the colours and the big arms. So maybe that could become the name of that garment
I am currently working on the Madeleine Sweater. It is working up so fast because of the lace!
I’m so jealous 😍
I am also a dog person, but have recently started fostering cats and it has been a dream. So now I am constantly torn between my two loves....anyway, on my needles is The Simple Knit Hood by Lia Lykke per your recommendation! I'm on the i-cord edging (new skill for me!), so I'm almost done!
Fostering cats sounds incredible 😍 aahh you’re gonna love your Simple Knit Hood ❤️

I live your knit top
Fall seems to roll off your tongue easier than autumn, but use which one works best for you.
It's Autumn all the way!!
Autumn!!!!!
Currently working on Fantasia Blouse by Lauren Wash, and playing yard chicken on the second sleeve (pray for me so I don't have to order 1 skein just to do ribbing on one sleeve)
New here but love your videos! On my needles is the new sandnes garn knitting pattern “Cornelia Cardigan” 🤩
love the video & love the cardigan you’re wearing! Is there a pattern for it?
Thank you 🤗 sadly, it’s not handknit, I got it from Mango years ago
I'm making Solene Cardigan with one strand of mohair
Ugghh dreammmyyy
I feel like that Kullavik cardigan would look really classic in a rich tan or camel tone. Almost giving a wool coat vibe, you know?
I have a bunch of random balls of yarn that are approximately the same weight. I didn't know what to do with them but now I'm wondering if the Hirsholm bomber is the perfect project for it? Maybe???

The Phoebe Cardigan? 💚

which ones am i able to do without circular needles? i have them but theyre shorttt
"ethereal"
Mammoth cardigan - big and fuzzy (my idea for the name) 🦣😊
I am 100% a cat person. So with dogs, I have the same thing like you with cats: I don't have a slightest clue what their moods are and how to approach them
Love ❤that red!
10:32 “i actually did it myself… yeah” - Julia Fox
HAHAHAHAH i love her she’s so funny
I love Holst Garn! I’ve made a sweater holding Holst Garn Coast and Titicaca together and it’s so soft! Currently working on the Moonset Tee in Coast. It’s my go to yarn for garments! And I have plans to make a sweater using Coast with a brushed suri alpaca
So happy to have tried Holst Garn, it’s so good 😍
A name for your wrap cardigan "Cotton Candy Wrap"
I'm currently trying to finish up my Mayball Wrap so I can cast on my latest obsession (the Quinn pullover). Dog person but specifically, a cocker spaniel person.
Oh my gosh me tooo my family dog is a cocker spaniel and she’s all I think about other than knitting
Me also! My petite cocker is a doll. She’s 20 lbs and so smart. My real companion.
Both autumn and fall are words that mean the same season. Whatever you want to say will be understood.
