To me, none of these sub boxes should contain 4 things. 1- RETAIL 2-Cheap/old packs 3- TMall/Hybrid/Choice/International 💩 4-Collegiate JMHO, but if Im paying what they charge I want ALL hobby. Period And.....no older than 16'/17' Sub boxes have been VERY lack luster this year total. To me, Id rather have a repeat or 2 tgan that other 💩. I still think BICs does it best. Hopefully they come back full time at some point. Right now its just seasonal. Most of the time with the rest this year, Hit box has been better than Boonbox UNTIL the last month. My favorite in the past was the ORIGINAL Mojo Chest (Not the A-holes that tried to copy the name and then caught so much flack they changed it to Mojo 2) The REAL OG Mojo chest. I wish they, Loot Locker, BIC, etc would all come back. Why not with the way the hobby is? Wouldn't mind more competition. I do like the guaranteed hit too, and they have gotten better with that. Was not pleased before when they were putting SPs, worthless mems, etc in them. Autos, case hits, game used, that Im good. So they have definitely improved with those, but packs gotta be better. Who wants a value pack in their boxes? Maybe right now people might be happy with Optic blasters if you wanna go that way or 22' R&S, something that gives you a shot at a hit, but value packs suck. To me retail doesn't fit. Why not get rid of 1 or even 2 packs and give me like 6 instead of 9, but make them REAL higher end hobby than this. To me, TMall, etc are just overpriced/overhyped pre-covid invasion megas. Without that guaranteed hit that would've sucked even harder. 😅😅😅 Love the on card autos. Almost as rare as game used mems anymore.😅 Hope you have a Wonderful 4th 🎇 Thanks for sharing! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Take Care/Stay Safe ✌
SP on the back of Phoenix does not mean Short Print. Means "Special Photo". A variation of base card. The base Derrick Carr and the SP Derrick Carr you pulled back to back were different photos. That's all SP means basically is a variation.
Heard that reference on the stern show when that asshole Bill O'Reilly flipped out started cursing. It was hilarious. Later thrown off the air. LOLOLOL
Getting ready to open my first hit box based on your channel. I make you tube videos that nobody watches. LOL It is all football related. Anyway keep up the great work as i enjoy your video's. Videos are nice and laid back.
I truly don’t understand the appeal of select at that price point. I remember buying a box of select in 2017 and I think it was MAYBE $100 and I loved the auto, I pc’d hunter Henry at the time but got a 2nd year henry patch auto /25. Didn’t come close to getting my money back then, let alone at $1,000 now
Green velocity on the Claypool, it's exclusive to those packs and I'm hoping someone lands one of the QBs. This is the only retail I've ever done in the All-Star and it's only because the market is terrible for hobby product right now. The stands will appear occasionally, next month we have team bags, I am trying to mix it up 😅 Your pack luck though was grim. Oof. Sorry about that one I'll try harder next month 😅
I watched tons of Hit box openings. I don’t feel like hit box puts enough good quality packs in any of their product for what you pay. Especially when they’re putting retail of 2020 Optic in boxes. Where the hobby packs… They’re giving old packs of bunk years of players who are busts. Plus packs can be weighed or manipulated to know what’s in them before they make these boxes. 2021 prizm draft picks.. come on hit box. Ouch on that beat down. i do appreciate your video and enjoy your channel.
@@irishjug8208 Football is in a really terrible spot right but for product availability. It's a combination of limited recent releases and Panini jacking prices up before listing the NFLPA license. Those retail 2020 Optic packs are $50-$60CAD each for instance. With this box we always ship eight packs, so there has to be some variation in the price point in each pack. We never do selected, weighted or cherry picked packs either, there are enough bad actors in this hobby and I'm not interested in being involved in that.
Very nice box, thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!
Nice rip I use cardboard connection for set breakdowns.
@@Thomaswilliams-yx9rt yeah they are excellent.
Thanks !
Rookies and start are one of those underrated releases...always see some good stuff come out of it like playof.
That wemby sticker parallel is SICK! Thanks for sharing the video.
Nice Zach Chardonnay!!
Cardboard connection tells u all da product hits
I gotta spend more time on there. I thought it was just a checklist and didn’t specify the case hit but I’ll check again. Thanks man !

@@srjwildcat3589 the value pack was the second most expensive pack in the box. The market is dry my friend.
The original mojo was THE BEST. Crushed me when they shut down.

Was definitely my favorite.
Thunder bird is all bird teams and sp is not sort print special photo
Oh snap thanks dude . Great info !
What up Nico

Totally agree. Every time I go to a shop I’m so tempted to buy Rookies & Stars. For $300 or whatever - it’s WAYY better than Select at $1,000

2020 is one of the best overall draft classes of the last few decades at this point… wouldn’t call it a bad year at all
