6 year old me also thought it was "INKS", it's actually In-Excess
I was just about to comment this....
Yeah there's ALWAYS Aussies here especially when you are reacting to our legendary musicians Jimmy Barnes and the late Michael Hutchence... much love from Perth Western Australia ❤❤❤
Loved this band back in the day. Was devastated when he passed. Great music to dance to.
Golden era in Aussie music, abundance of talent on that stage.
First time I saw INXS they were supporting chisel.jimmy is such a powerhouse. I see chrissie Amphlett on backing, another fine Aussie singer. See the Divinyls
this was the last song of the "Australian Made" concert in the late 80's.. back up singers and band members are from other bands that played on the night.
Wild Thing by Cold Chisel is awesome song to see Jimmy let it all hang out
Anything from INXS live at Wembley…but especially What You Need…….yup in excess
Definitely What You Need from Wembley 👍
I'm going to 3rd that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 can't go wrong with anything from INXS Wembley Stadium 1991 but What You Need is my favorite!
INXS and Jimmy rocking the night! A quite a few Aussie all-star legends on back-up!
A cover of an iconic Aussie song, this version also featured on the Lost Boys soundtrack! Classic 80s party song!
I see Chrissy Amphlett from the Divinyls singing backup vocals in this. INXS is pronounced (in excess). I loved them still listen to their music to me it’s ageless like this one. Try INXS never tear us apart, don’t change, listen like thieves, mystify, new sensation, devil inside, disappear, divide blonde, look at you, heaven sent, baby don’t cry, elegantly wanted. That’s to name a few. With Jimmy Barnes singing this song was the icing on top. 😊
Also check out the Divinyls Boys in town, I touch myself, Good die young, I’m jealous, pleasure and pain, I ain’t gonna eat out my heart anymore.
These two front man/woman have passed away RIP Michael Hutchence and Chrissy Amphlett. 😢
You could fill 90 days with Aussie music and still only scratch the surface. A few suggestions. Paul Kelly (To Her Door) , Powderfinger (Sunsets), You Am I (Berlin Chair), The Cruel Sea (The Honeymoon is Over), Crowded House (Don't Dream It's Over), Midnight Oil (Beds are Burning).
Omg you dont know INXS 😳
Do ' never tear us apart '
I was at this gig - "Australian Made" great night of Aussie rock
I was at the perth gig at subi oval
I believe you were looking at 3 guitarists. Tim and Andrew Farris and Kirk Pengilly of INXS (IN EXCESS) and their bassist as well, Garry Gary Beers. INXS are the bomb. You should check out The Loved One from this same show. Btw, those were not just backup singers, they are all members of other well known Aussie bands.
🥁🥁🥁🎹🎹🎹🗣️
Legends flat out - even the back up singers legends on this night
There is so much '60s, '70s, '80's & '90s Oz-rock royalty on stage here. This is an Easy Beats cover song (Easy Beats = George Young (Brother to ACDC's Angus and Malcolm) & Harry Vander who together produced some of ACDC's earliest songs). In the chorus is the wonderful wild child Chrissy Amphlett of the Divinyls (& cousin to "Little Pattie), Jimmy from Cold Chisel with the stand out INXS. Love it!
I’m pretty sure you pronounce the name of the band as “in-excess” not “inks”
I saw this live at the Perth gig on the Australian Made concert tour....
Amazing line up
2 great songs:
Ben l'Oncle & Gregory Porter, "Grandma's Hands"
&
Gregory Porter, "Revival."
I have to say it does make me happy that a reactor knows about Jimmy Barnes but has never heard of INXS.. because it’s usually the other way round! I love Michael but Jimmy’s vocal skills are on a whole other level and I’ve always preferred the songs put out by Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes more.
Aww Kappy ❤
@@jemxs when I wrote that comment I was thinking hmm the only person I can think of who may disagree with me is you 🤣
@@Dr_KAP lol I am impressed with the restraint you now show when talking of INXS...I have guilted you well 😂
Okay y'all are funny and I love Jimmy's voice but I'm going to have to go with Michael 😂 RIP Michael 😭😭😭 and I did find Jimmy through INXS but hey at least I found him and John and Diesel
And if you ever do any INXS it has to be live their live performances outdo their videos you will never go wrong with any of their live performances but I will say Wembley 1991 it's probably one of their best and one of the best live concerts you'll ever watch!
Chrissie is next on your list ! the Aussie Chrissy... not the touch myself one ! ohh my.. and Thorpie on stage too "MAMA"
INXS always reminds me of my sister. 🥰 Jimmy Barnes has a powerhouse voice! So much energy between the two of them!!
I would love to see a reaction to “Now I Know” by Stephen McWhirter! 😁
❤INXS and Jimmy Barnes
I’m sure you would know of some of INXS songs
AC/DC and INXS are thought to be the best bands from Australia on the international stage
Great video!
Still waiting for you to listen to I know how to speak - Manchester orchestra.
My name is Joe
if you would like to do a performance showcasing 100% committment try brother by mattcorby live for like a version, a true masterclass
INXS is pronounced "IN EXCESS" 😉
pronounced IN X Sess
Yes, In-Excess…NOT inks
Can you react to “Elohim” by Sondae? I also don’t know how to pronounce INXS or Sondae (my best guess is it’s like Sunday but spelled weird)
Inxs= in excess😁
