I have a Manfrotto Befree GT XPRO Carbon tripod and I'm not happy with it, so I bought a Leofoto LS 324 CEX tripod which is great for me. For me the Manfrotto company at the current time is overrated. I can't screw spikes onto this Manfrotto model because the manufacturer doesn't provide them for the carbon version. When I found this out, I was shocked! The Leofoto tripods have spikes and there is no problem. When I look at the Leofoto catalogue, I can't get over how many different accessories, tripods and heads they have compared to Manfrotto!
Thank you so much for your review, it is one of only a few of what seems to be a fantastic tripod! There is so much thought that clearly went into it as well, and it makes me wonder about how you'd compare it to more traditional tripod-brands like Gitzo, whose traveler / mountaineer series are at a similar price-range. How do you reflect on this tripod half a year later now?
think probably made as good as Gitzo and also Kase's own kingjoy - think they are much the same build quality - got mine £330 cheaper direct from Japan
