Kyle, I teach 8th grade math and I have shown some of your videos in my class, especially the ones where you say "Math never lies.". The geometry of the building is awesome. All the triangles make it super strong. I push my students to look to the skilled trades for jobs after high school. O show the math you use. Rise/run, Pythagorean Theorem, and standard geometry skills. Keep up the great work. Most important math equation that I give my students is Work = Money. Love the videos.

In response to your request for comment, I share the same feelings. When i use to do rough framing, it was always so satisfying walking to your truck after a long couple of days of building walls and hanging trusses that alone were just pieces of wood being nailed together but when you stand at the curb and take a peak back you see a masterpiece. To your question about the geometry and all the lines. It would be awesome to put a clear roof on so you can see everything. Maybe do a small shed to test it out.
All I can say is WOW! I have been watching your videos for over a year now, and it is nice to see a building go up. And I agree, the skeleton of your buildings is true art! I am located in Eastern Washington state, where we also get a ton of wind. Average around 10 -20, with a few 100+ mph storms thrown in for fun. We need to get a building built sometime soon, 40'X 30' with a high ceiling so if any of our rigs need work on top, we can access them safely and easily We plan on tall roll-up doors in both gables, and man doors so we can drive through the structure to load and unload the RV. The building will be used mostly as storage for our rigs. and a shop for our farm. Right now, it's a dead giveaway when we leave, because our rigs are visible from the road. and an extended Wheelbase (155" total wheelbase) on our Van and 30' RV really leave a hole in the place when they are gone. Windows placed high up on the walls is a great idea as well, though we will have windows low as well to allow as much light in as possible. The lower windows will probably be covered with a masking agent to prevent snooping. I have no idea what this will cost, but I know it will be a bunch. Insulation and temp controls as well.
I've been subscribed for quite awhile now and have to admit these builds get repetitious. However I loved the rental house remodel and this was great because of the time lapse with narration. Thanks for mixing it up and keeping content fresh. You do a great job.
Nice work with putting in the Windows makes it look much better you got yourself a great crew of guys love that team effort to get ceiling done before high winds
So well done Kyle. We know you guys put a lot of work into your video production, but this was just stellar. Such great editing, commentary and music choices. You guys are pretty good at this whole "post-frame building" thing too... Thanks for all the effort!
Was doing a 60x80 shop once. Just me and another guy putting the tin on the roof. Freak gust of wind came in and carried a single sheet probably 3km we could see it going through the next field. Lucky neither of us got hurt or anyone else.
Kyle, I guess I would be in that group that just enjoys watching you and your crew put up these fine buildings. I am 74 and live in eastern Washington state. We really do need a good building in the style you put up, so I am learning a lot. It is 3 am just now and I will most likely get to see one of our beautiful sunrises before I get to bed, so I pass the time learning about what to look for in a contractor builder. WE think the size we need is about 30' x 40' building as we want to store our 30' RV travel trailer and the tow vehicle and some other equipment out of the weather, and out of sight. We have about $70K invested in the RV and tow vehicle and as you know the weather is not kind to any vehicle stored outside. I do not know if I will ever get my building built, but I sure hope so and I hope I can find a builder in our area that pays as much attention to detail as you do. Perhaps we could manage an indoor track for exercise around the perimeter of the building.

I’m with you I love the open ceilings. Are used to go to a church with an open ceiling and all the trusses were just beautiful, it was hard to pay attention to what was going on.
Love your videos. I was wondering if a customer has ever requested if you would do a net zero or passive house building? Or if you would even be willing to try and take those extra step to achieve the requirements for this process. So well done Kyle. We know you guys put a lot of work into your video production, but this was just stellar. Such great editing, commentary and music choices. You guys are pretty good at this whole "post-frame building" thing too... Thanks for all the effort!
Thanks so much! Just happy to share what I love and even more astonished people enjoy it
Was doing a 60x80 shop once. Just me and another guy putting the tin on the roof. Freak gust of wind came in and carried a single sheet probably 3km we could see it going through the next field. Lucky neither of us got hurt or anyone else.
Essential craftsman speaks very highly of you. Was sent here by him
82 thumbs down are the wanna be barn owners that cant do what you do! Thank you for your video i loved how you walked us thru everything you do

Great job👍👍
good job. Greetings from the state of South Dakota I also work in construction and here I have learned more this beautiful work 👍👍👍
Kyle, I guess I would be in that group that just enjoys watching you and your crew put up these fine buildings.
I am in ND, but I'm going to be head out to Eastern WA sometime before spring. I have a associate degree in Arch/Struc. Engineering. I have been working the last 13 year's doing construction/remodeling here in my hometown of Williston, ND. I will be trying to get back into Land Surveying so I will need work til then. If you want to do it i would assist you

I’m with you I love the open ceilings. Are used to go to a church with an open ceiling and all the trusses were just beautiful, it was hard to pay attention to what was going on.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Feel free to share this with your friends if they might enjoy it. Thanks for all support!!
Love your videos. I was wondering if a customer has ever requested if you would do a net zero or passive house building? Or if you would even be willing to try and take those extra step to achieve the requirements for this process. I have found articles on theory that it could work but no one that has actually done it yet.
What is the typical $ per sq ft on these larger buildings?
@@dylangreen8828 would love too
