Problem is not actually the tire size. It is your suspension lift and the wheel flares. They look cool with the bigger BFGs, I believe if you can drop your suspension a bit and remove wheel flares, even 205s will look nice. But in the current configuration it looks quite funny :)
Don't know about this model but the previous shape had 16" rims on the 660cc and 15" rims on the 1300cc. You could have gone with 16" rims but thinner tyres than the bf Goodrich. 245/70 is massive and only for looks. The ideal size is one size bigger than the oem.
Beautiful Machine, a dream car to drive. Is it 660CC or 1500CC? What suspension setup you are having? I think 215/75/15 is the best size for Jimny off/On Road with little lift kit.

I plan to go for 215/70 on existing 16 inch rim once BF GOODRICH completes its life.

it's 660cc, details are in VLOG 1 and onwards. The suspension is pro staff zeal, 3 inch lift.
yes 215 75 16 is ideal if lifted.
