𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
0:01 Heat the headlight to soften the sealant
0:06 Open the headlight using a flat screw driver
1:12 Remove the reflector
1:38 Disconnect the wires
1:45 Remove the low beam reflector
1:56 Remove the orginal bulb holder
2:04 Adjust the fitting of the reflector for mounting the Mini H1 projector.
2:34 Place the rubber ring on the projector
2:39 Place the adapter plate for a perfect centered projector
2:55 Screw the bulb holder
3:29 Place the new Iris shroud on the Mini H1 projector
3:37 Clean all the reflectors, shrouds and lenses
3:55 Connect the H1 splitters and replace the reflector in the housing.
4:16 Place the lens back on the housing and heat the headlight again
4:31 Press the lens back on the housing to close the headlight back up again. Clean the headlight and you're done!

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!
The latest high power Led bulbs will upgrade both the exterior and interior lighting system of your car. Led lighting is becoming more and more popular in the automotive market for obvious reasons. They have longer lifetime, use less energy and improve safety with their fast response time.

Looks so easy in this video. I did the same on my 06 Leon and takes me 4h for the first headlight.
As usual, perfect and simple from the ugly halogen to the impressive HID. Thank god for the Mini H1s :)

Nog betere lichtopbrengst en lichtbeeld dan de OEM xenonlamp in mijn vorige Seat Leon.
Ik heb nu (nieuwe Seat Leon) OEM LED verlichting; het oogt weliswaar cool, maar de lichtopbrengst is beduidend minder dan bij de OEM xenonlampen.

Great video! But besides the fact, that you need a aut. levelling system and a washer, I'm pretty sure that such mods are ilegal in Germany.
A halogen projector for H7 or H4 buls would be fine, but i haven't found something suitable untill yet.
Do you guys have something in this way?

for how long did you heat up the headlight? and how did you glue it back on?
In general, 2 methods are used, with both methods, be careful and patient. Method 1 is using a regular oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. When ready, switch off the oven and place the headlight inside. Make sure that the headlight is not touching any metal of the oven by placing a cloth over the grid, for example. Leave the headlight in the oven for 10-15 minutes before opening it. If the headlight kit is not yet soft enough, put the headlight in the oven for a bit more time.
Method 2 is suitable for larger headlights that do not fit in a regular oven, or if your lovely wife absolutely does not allow car parts to be baked in her kitchen. A large cardboard box is used where hot air is blown through a heatgun. Make sure that the hot air of the heatgun does not blow directly to the headlight, place the headlight on small elevations so that the air can circulate properly through the box. We use a setting of 300 Degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes / 1st lowest setting, depending on the size of the headlight.

I fitted xenon projectors to my original seat leon headlights
I connected the shutter wire to my high beam. (Disconnected high beam connection and wired shutter wire to it)
But I am getting a bulb warning error (high beam bulb).
Also my shutter only works when the headlights are switched on, otherwise I have no high beam.
Where have I gone wrong?

sure it's new glue because this one does not soften enough with heat

Potresti dare un'occhiata a quanto segue; si tocca / è bloccato davanti o dietro? È su entrambi i lati? O forse un connettore per le viti di regolazione dell'altezza non è collegato? Contattaci se hai bisogno di ulteriore aiuto.

Have you ever done retrofit on seat ibiza (2002-2008) ? apparently the glue does not soften with heat, is that true? have you some informations on this ? sorry for my bad english, good work ! :)

@@Retrofitlab i had one opened and what can i say its just...i respect you man,it took me one day to finish one headlamp a lot of work to do,mine are oem bixenon but i just wanted to clean the lenses
