It’s like they think they are a prize, irreplaceable. What makes them a prize is that they are devoted and faithful and treat their spouse well. If they spend their time entertaining other people, being unfaithful, and hurting their spouse, they are a liability, not a precious asset.
Yeah, the second my wife came out with her opening such as this wife came up with, I would have gone straight to a lawyer. This is a retelling of this story. I liked it better the first time, better AI voice, but even with this narrator the story is worth another listen.
She flirted, lied and told him her plan to hook up. That is so disrespectful and it doesn't need to go fully physical to be cheating. The itch may be temporarily relieved but the rash is still there.
Don't just listen to advice people give, you must always analyze the advice first before acting on it. It might turn out to be bad or cause you trouble.
A light story but real. Friends,, associates, and people that you are around a lot but be chosen wisely. Life is short dontcwastevtime nor energy with peoples who's value arentvloke yours !
Wife: I have a date next weekend. Me: Is that so? Wife: Yes, and I'm really excited. I can't wait till Friday. Me: Where are you going to live after this 'date?' Wife: ??? Me: Goodbye Suzie, have a nice life. Alone.
**Timestamp (**25:17**):** The climax of the story occurs when Shelly admits her realization after Grace's reaction to her initial announcement. She acknowledges her emotional turmoil, cancels her plans, and reveals her commitment to preserving their marriage, marking a pivotal shift in their relationship dynamic.
"Then researched PRENUPTIAL agreements". God who writes this and doesn't have someone read it first? There's no PRE, too late, already married, maybe a POSTNUPTIAL. Stupid.
A very common philosophical position says that if a significant other even "inquires" about open relationships, it's time to shut down any relationship with that significant other. In THIS story, Shelley's goes far beyond mere inquiry and sets up the elements of her open relationship and then hypocritically lets her husband know that she thinks she should be the only one allowed to cheat. Then the whole thing comes to a happy ending where she repudiates trying to cheat because her husband completely out maneuvers her and gives her a taste of her own medicine. Are we supposed to applaud this? The ONLY reason she didn't follow through with her incredibly selfish and predatory plans was because she was outmaneuvered by her husband, Brace. So why on earth did he stay with her? Is he so stupid that he thinks all of his made up relationship rules are going to somehow protect him against her nasty plans in the future? I cannot imagine a more egregious attempt to victimize her husband than the one depicted in this story, and his reaction is basically ha ha ha, I tricked you! In every practical sense, Shelley suffers NO consequences for her truly evil behavior other than he throws some minor barriers in her way if she tries it again. What's the point? How does Brace NOT come to the conclusion that he is married to a monster?
Its best this guy divorces her as she suggested and there is no assurance that she will sneak around his back an do it. Once its suggested its over as there's no trust left. Any way as no children it will be easier.
She wanted to cheat but told him since that didn't work she will slip around and do it. Get rid of her before kids are involved and more assets are accumulated.
"I will always come back to you"
What makes you think I would want you back?

the fictional character named 'wife' already cheated
"we're going to have sex until we pass out"
Don't over sell it, dude.
"probably should use some nice aftershave to turn her on" 💀

This isn't Tom Sawyer, this is Br'er Rabbit and "please don't throw me in that briar patch"
Agreed. Much better comparison.

the " IRS guy" part was hilarious. fun made up story
Actually, this husband should divorce this crazy wife, Shelly. She can not be trusted. Yes lunches and planning a date is at least emotional cheating.
Wife: I have a date next weekend.
Me: Is that so?
Wife: Yes, and I'm really excited. I can't wait till Friday.
Me: Where are you going to live after this 'date?'
Wife: ???
Me: Goodbye Suzie, have a nice life. Alone.

Great tale. ;-)

No hace faltar llegar a la parte física para que sea una infidelidad. El mc fue engañado y lo perdonó, lo admita o no.
The ending is hilarious!
Unbelievable but it could happen, reconciliation that’s just like walking in eggshell for the rest of their couples’ life
