- During the Jammu Kashmir election coverage, The Lallantop team visited Patava village of Badgam which falls in central Kashmir. Our team here tried to understand the general view of local people towards election and article-370 which was abrogatted last year. One among the villagers here explained what's actually wrong in Kashmir.
This story was reported on December 12,2020 but couldn't be published due to some technical reasons.

A hindu/sikh person from kashmir is as much kashmiri as a Muslim. kashmir is 5000 years old unlike Islam which is 1300 years old only. Religion does not determine ki wo kaha se hai. There are sikhs/hindus in Afghanistan too. A kashmiri hindu/sikh will wear the same dresses as a kashmiri Muslim, speak the same language and have the same cuisine. And this is culture which you need to understand.
