DIY: How to replace the fabric in an automatic pool cover

We're going to show you an in-depth and clear video on how to replace the fabric in your automatic pool cover. We replaced the fabric in about 6-8 hours, having no past experience and making this video up as we went. I had multiple quotes from local companies to replace it, and the cost ended up being about 40% of the quotes.
The fabric brand is Automatic Pool Covers (APC) and the fabric and all needed parts were purchased from automaticswimmingpoolcoverparts.com (not affiliated).
We installed this fabric in April 2020 and as of January 2022, it still looks brand new with no signs of aging. I'd highly recommend this brand of fabric and the company that I purchased from; they were extremely helpful with any questions that I called with.
