Oh dear, a group of sheep is known as a flock . and the word heard is the past tense of hear ,
Thank for the catch on the spelling. We are leaving it as herd instead of flock as at the time we made the video we did not know the difference and Herd can apply to any domestic grouping of animals. If you check out our newer video you will see that we are now using flock.
A flock is a group of similar animals together, especially sheep, goats and birds. A group of sheep is called a drove, flock or herd. A very large group of sheep is referred to as a band or mob.

This was a first video and first experience with these sheep. Everyone has to have a starting place and this was ours.
