Horizontals are awesome. For several years my first and only mill was an Iwashita[Japanese] horizontal. They will make you a better machinist, they make you really learn about setting up and clamping. Working vertically is much easier.

I have a very similar machine. Everything works except the hydraulic feed. Does anyone know what goes wrong, likely problem with the table feed on these machines?

Haven't watched the vid but some won't move hydralicly with out the clutch engaged or some weird variation of that
