Richard Raffan on cup chucks

Cup chucks are great for short endgrain projects. Simple, inexpensive, and easy to use, they have long been a chuck favoured by professional woodturners worldwide.
These cup chucks are prototypes made by Vicmarc Machinery. I'm told they'll be making a few more, and probably a few more after that if there's any interest. Which there should be.
