- Hurricane Beryl Turns Into Top-Level Category 5 Storm After Making Landfall | Firstpost Earth
Hurricane Beryl devastated the Windward Islands, killing at least one. The storm also swept through southeastern Caribbean nations. Heavy rains and devastating winds hit Grenada's Carriacou island. The hurricane also lashed St. George's in Grenada. The authorities had declared a state of emergency in the country. The US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) said the life-threatening storm also impacted St. Vincent & the Grenadines. The impact on Barbados was comparatively lower than other nations. However, the storm disrupted power lines disrupted and uprooted trees. Jamaica and the Cayman Islands are now bracing for the hurricane’s impact. Beryl strengthened into a top-level category 5 storm after hitting the islands. The NHC has said that Beryl is the second category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic after Emily in 2005. It is also the earliest category 5 storm in the Atlantic on record.

Complete fear mongering by the news media here. Was the dramatic music really necessary in this video?
I like how you thinking..
It's a shame those who leave their boats on the water, that they didn't take responsibility to get them out of the water.
💪👍
I've seen far worse than this, hurricane in Bermuda, came home after having to stay at the workplace 4 days nights to find the whole living room gone with the roof sitting on the sofa
We are sinking.😢

😂😂
Thanks for the warning
It doesn't look that bad. No roofs torn off. Just trash all over the place and some trees knocked down.
Most of these clips showing the damage are of Barbados, search for the damage in St. Vincent or Grenada especially Carricou and you will not think it's not so bad.
I was about to say the same! Carriacou has been flattened and so far 2 deaths confirmed.
This is weather warfare Geoengineering by the Military Industrial Complex
Make no mistake this just the beginning…..
God Bless you all🙏
Research “weather modification “
This is called extreme weather events due to climate change
No, hurricanes have passed through this region for the past 500 years; most are downgraded to tropical storms.
@@AT-gu8by So why people are not prepared in advance. Have they not learnt anything for the past 500 years?
@@Ryan.Dias619 In what ways were they not prepared?
@@JLB00333 Residents of Carriacou Island Grenada, have lost most of their vehicles, houses, business etc. Why not build hurricane proof houses, instead of houses built with roof just flying off in category 5 storms. Store your vehicles in a safe garage before the storm approaches.
Tell me what more would you have further done in preparations for a cat4 going to cat5 hurricane❓ Besides completely picking yourself up and migrating to another country, leaving everything you have worked on for your entire life behind.
