Scusate volevo scrivere MEDDY!!!!! Ma soprattutto mi scuso con lui. Bisogna rileggere sempre ciò che si scrive. Quelle predefinite fanno commettere errori madornali😮
Well, I mean he has nothing to be ashamed of, once again reached the quarter finals, if Sinner wasn't there may have been semis or finals, he's doing very well
I'm a fan of Jannik but I consider Medvedev one of the most intelligent tennis players. Above all I like the respect there is between the two. More than once Sinner said that playing with Medvedev helped him improve.
if you are talking about tennis IQ, i agree with you. meddy is min-maxing pretty much anything he does, he rarely chooses the wrong shot, goes to show that sinner has alot to improve still
I have to confess, I didn’t like Medvedev for quite some time when I started watching tennis. Be he grew on me, and this interview shows he is genuinely a great sportsman
He has against Djokovic in straight sets his mentality is shit from when ahead like throwing the match against sinner and Nadal in back to back Aussie open finals.
I am a Sinner fan but I am well aware that Medvedev is one of the main reason why Jannik has improved so much, and I think beating Jannik will be motivation for Daniil to vary his game as well
I like how he reacts after a defeat, he is very intelligent, he sees clearly what happened with a strong mentality and positive approach, trying to learn from that in a good way. We should learn from this
He is sooooo eloquent, articulate and gracious even when he loses.... Navarro (American born & raised), can learn a lot from him..(non-English speaking)..... What a shame....Americans can't speak their own language....
maybe you can learn something from Medvedev too and not insult an entire country because of one players arrogance. Youre literally no better than Emma for this trash bigoted comment
What a generalization. You are wrong, one girl is not so comfortable doing press, and you say " AMERICANS" . It would be nice if Danil wore some under garments that allows him comfort. He is always pulling on the front and back of his shorts like a 7 year old boy. Man, you are on Tv. Must be a lil one. It is so annoyibng to see this. I am a woman , and I do not see many others with this issue. I did not see Sinner once grab his crotch or remove a wedggie during the whole match. WTF is his problem? Yuck! I watched Taylor Fritz, Dimitrov, Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Deminaur, Sasha, and none of them do that . I wished I counted, but I turn away after awhile. IT is so crass.
Most unfortunate that Meddy lost and I really feel for him and Sacha. This was their best chance and it slipped away. But life doesn't end and continues. Hopefully, Meddy can pay back the next time they meet.
Top drawer player and person. This is respect from one GS champ to another. Both in a different league of talent than the rest. Their match should have been the final. Next time Meddy. You’ve had a tough year. Great to see you are getting in good form going into 2025. Best of luck ❤️👏😊
Medvedev is a good looking and excellent player. He is a winner in my mind and I wish his friend Rublev would learn from his friend and Khachanov too, All 3 of them specially outstanding, special , wonderful tennis players! I like to watch them.
Daniil was the favorite… what Americans wants to win …. Well I ve watched Jannik practice few days ago , he’s a machine with turbo , very different from all the others players on the practice court ..
As others have said, Meddy is sincere and thoughtful. His style of play isn’t pretty but he’s a crafty competitor. He has real grit and I hope he wins another slam.
I'm a Jannik fan but hats off to Meddy, excellent tennis player. And it's true, in life as in sports: you give it yr best, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
Feel for this guy. His numbers are way too low for how he plays . He had to face big 3 for a big chunk of his career and now he is stuck with the emerging 2 (?). Medevedev please win one more slam You deserve it .
meddy is a class act, but for context Sinner won two sets 6-1,6-2 vs both Novak and Medvedev at their best slams on their favorite surfaces. unreal 😨. also he won one set 6-2 vs Alcaraz on clay, also 6-1 at indian wells on hard but carlos to his immense credit adjusted and found solutions. to summarize, daniil is class personified. massive respect to him for the way he fights and handles losses
It was a very weird match. But should have been the final. Both knew it was the best chance to win the USO. Esp Danil he must have been salivating at the thought of having none of the top 5 or member of the Big 3 against him - he for sure would beat anyone else but had a bad draw. Love Meddy. Go Sinner!
da italiano dopo sinner .. lui è il mio preferito.. sempre vero .. duro ma sincero e molto ironico... e poi gioca da dio, non molla mai un punto.. per fargli punto devi sempre fare qualcosa di straordinario
Has he stopped yawning when he plays against Sinner? I remember that he yawned often... More than adorable... He understood that he only deserves slaps in the face and he can't help but recognize it, Making excuses would be ridiculous, And he has to thank that at Wimbledon Sinner was immersed in all those messes, otherwise he would have chased the ball like a puppy there too
biggest issue sinner has are dropshots.. those are very bad, like, eachtime he tried one he lost the point, he also often misstimes net play the whole match was super tactical, constantly trying to exploit each others weaknesses, something that they always do but it was evident yesterday serve was lacking from both, overall they played a similar level and with that it appears sinners wins, so for meddy to win he needs to be on top form and hope sinner is not also on top form
Hes a smart guy. You can tell this from his responses and thought patterns. Unfortunately Sinner, providing he maintains his current level, will always beat Medvedev in Grand Slams in the crutch matches. This is simply because in "tennis years" Medvedev is past his best and Sinner is in his prime. Tennis players peak from ages 18 through to their mid 20s, 25, 26 and then it is all down hill depending on a few other factors. I know what people are thinking. What about Federer , Nadal & Djokovic? Well those guys were freaks. However if you look at the stats Federer's peak years were the mid 2000s through to 2010. Thats when he won 75% of his Grand Slams. Djokovic owned the 2010s apart from the French Open where Nadal was a complete anomaly. Federer's performance dropped off dramatically from age 28. He managed to eek out 5 Grand Slams after this age , which is amazing if it were anyone else but 15 of his slams were from age 20 to 28. The only exception to this rule has been Djokovic , which makes him the best player to ever have walked the earth. People dont like this but the stats dont lie. The fact that 70% of his slams were won after the age of 28 shows what a legend he is. But age has caught up to him. I have followed his career from day one back when he was known as the "joker" for his oncourt impersonations of other players. That 2024 Wimbledon final he played against Alcaraz was mind blowing simply for the reason I have never seen him play so appallingly ever! Carlos completely dominated him in every aspect. He was tired, had way to many unforced errors, he lacked decent passing shots and his serve had lost its potency. I am amazed he stepped it up for the Olympics to win gold. Then he was outclassed again in the quarters of the 2024 US Open by a nobody. Winning a Grand Slam is soooo difficult. You have to be on form for every single point of every single game. You cannot have an off day. The fact these three giants of the game managed to win as many titles as they did is unbelievable. We will never see that again in my life time. I think Sinner and Alcaraz are phenomenal players but I cant see either of them getting to double figures in Grand Slams, not because they are no good but because it is so damn hard and there is a more even playing field with the young players coming through. Look at Alcaraz. Barely 21 and he crashed out of the 2024 US Open to a nothing player. The pressure already getting to him. As for Novak I cant see him winning another Slam. I hope I am proved incorrect though. If he still has the desire and he is injury free then its possible but DESIRE is a huge factor.
He plays mind games against the opponent all the time, but recently he's learned how to look like a good guy and still play mind games. No sportsmanship at all and that's the reason why he loses almost all the big games
Medvedev is a great player he gets good results in major tournaments. But, Medvedev always falls in the end. Hope he’ll win one of the major titles soon.
Meddy is so mature in how he takes defeats. Such a likeable guy

I’ve really grown to like Daniil over the years. He’s so honest with his answers. Really appreciate that.
Of all the players he does the best interviews, in my opinion. And I'm not even a Med fan!
I love this guy. So intelligent, honest and authentic.
Daniil is my favourite. Such a unique and authentic personality.
Of course he is Russian
@Grant_Ferstat: exactly, great player but humble & intelligent. What a guy! Real sportsman.
I'm a fan of Jannik but I consider Medvedev one of the most intelligent tennis players.

I have to repeat what Grant said - Medvedev is likeable because he's so authentic. He has a lot of grace too. Really nice guy!
Extremely classy guy. You can tell he is as pure as they come
I have to confess, I didn’t like Medvedev for quite some time when I started watching tennis.
Be he grew on me, and this interview shows he is genuinely a great sportsman
Exactly! He went from one of my least favourites to my favourite
Same here! Very intelligent and likeable guy
Agree. These days, I only wait for his matches!
Usa Britan and Australia propaganda against Russia is well know all over the world. But truth overcomes lies and propaganda

From a Sinner fan ❤ you are s big champion , i Hope you Will win something real important in the best future you deserve It.
But only when Sinner is not there.
So do I.
He has against Djokovic in straight sets his mentality is shit from when ahead like throwing the match against sinner and Nadal in back to back Aussie open finals.
He doesn’t read these !! FYI

Meddy shines even brighter in moment such as this ❤
Je suis fan de Jannnik, félicitations Dani pour votre humble parole et grand match 💐
It was a brilliant game Meddy we would definitely love to see you both play in future . High level tennis
Congrats to you too Meddy, true sportsmanship
Meddy deserves at least another GS title for his career achievement. To win only one title in 6 GS finals was a bit unfortunate
Not really when he should have won 2 of them
I am a Sinner fan but I am well aware that Medvedev is one of the main reason why Jannik has improved so much, and I think beating Jannik will be motivation for Daniil to vary his game as well
The other reason he improved is...........STEROIDS!
I like how he reacts after a defeat, he is very intelligent, he sees clearly what happened with a strong mentality and positive approach, trying to learn from that in a good way. We should learn from this
I love Meddy--the only ATP player I can relate to-he is a REAL GENUINE human being!
He is sooooo eloquent, articulate and gracious even when he loses....
Navarro (American born & raised), can learn a lot from him..(non-English speaking).....
What a shame....Americans can't speak their own language....
Its about IQ not language .. Medvedev also speaks 4 language...
Americans are like that usually
Also they usually can’t spell there, their, they’re properly so😂
Europeans people speak multiple languages usually
maybe you can learn something from Medvedev too and not insult an entire country because of one players arrogance. Youre literally no better than Emma for this trash bigoted comment

The same goes for Tiafoe, he knows what to say but he does not articulate well, so Medvedev is 10x easier to understand.
Most unfortunate that Meddy lost and I really feel for him and Sacha. This was their best chance and it slipped away. But life doesn't end and continues. Hopefully, Meddy can pay back the next time they meet.
Not exactly. Sinner is still in the draw. Getting past him is even a bigger deal than getting past Djokovic.
It’s final of uso
Sasha has yet to win one, but Medvedev won the US Open 3 years back!
Daniil is so nice, funny, and smart. Such a joy to watch.
So impressed by his sportsmanship!
Top drawer player and person. This is respect from one GS champ to another. Both in a different league of talent than the rest. Their match should have been the final. Next time Meddy. You’ve had a tough year. Great to see you are getting in good form going into 2025. Best of luck ❤️👏😊
Meddy takes out Sinner in Aussie Open quarters or semis next year. Meddy got Wimbledon and Sinner got it here. It will go back and forth.
Meddy should've won AO this year after winning the first two sets.
Unfortunately I doubt it will go back and fourth, since Sinner has upped his level it has been 6-1 to Sinner and at Wimbledon wasn't at 100%.
Respect to Daniil.
Great Daniil! 😊
This should have been the final. What a match, what a game.
The best technical interviews plus funny and well spoken. Meddy keep it up.!
This guy has some antics on the court but in interview he is well articulated and thoughtful.
I often like Medvedev's pressers, win or lose. Usually very thoughtful, honest, and a little funny.
Becoming a fan of Med - honest, straight forward, and humble

What a CLASSY GUY 👍👍🇷🇸🇷🇸
Grazie Daniil per essere così signore oltre che bravo.!!
The twin of Tennis: Meddy and Janny!
He looks like a Russian professor but he’s such a great speaker in a second language and tennis player.
Daniil was the favorite… what Americans wants to win …. Well I ve watched Jannik practice few days ago , he’s a machine with turbo , very different from all the others players on the practice court ..
I feel so bad for him, this guy has more heartbreak losses than anyone I follow
Bad? He's one of the top players while the top 3 kept winning everything. If not for those 3 he'd have several GS. Nothing to feel bad about.
One of the bests in interviews
I love sinner and i love more and more Danil :)
As others have said, Meddy is sincere and thoughtful. His style of play isn’t pretty but he’s a crafty competitor. He has real grit and I hope he wins another slam.
