Which resources for ethics
Can someone tell me why we are studying ethics first? i asking this because several times we have heard ethics is not very tough, we have to use examples from other GS subjects in ethics and priority subjects are eco, polity, and geography so complete them first,, I always really admired shivin sir this time his strategy is going over my mind.

Just 6 months ago in a video with Anirudh Sir , you discussed that it is important to cover GS-1,2,3 and optional before coming to Gs-4 and even before that you have shared such strategy but now you yourself is coming with a opposite approach. Why so i could not understand . I am also a aspirant and also could not understand the fact that how we are supposed to complete the economics in 7 days ! (as mentioned in your planner) . Your strategies in the past helped i hope you will clarify and help regarding this.

Sir you have mentioned ethics part 1 in daily targets, but please describe briefly what is part 1 ( whether it means that we have to make chapter 1 into 3 parts and read or what exactly) if yes till where is the part 1. Please sir there's so much of ambiguity. Orelse atleast give us some reference by taking decode ethics book ( from this pg no of this edition to till here ) please sir elaborate and thankyou so much ❤

Sir, we study ethics during our preparation but do we really become ethical, which probably is the purpose of keeping it as a subject in this exam?
You've always been open and kind enough to talk to us about every problem an aspirant can face during this journey.
Multiple cases of frauds in UPSC selection process have shaken our faith in the selection commission. And your silence about it is scary. I have faith over you and I know you are different but I also expect you to at least give some minutes to this topic, so that we don't feel like just fighting against giants where there is no scope for a win.
There’s no examination in the world which can screen out compromised students completely . If 8 students out of 800 are fraud then that doesn’t mean you should completely omit the ethics paper or stop taking the exam altogether.
Please explicitly mention what is the targets given , what do part 1 mean in today's given task can anyone help me out

Why you are not saying anything on upsc scam
I expected at least a significant number of UPSC candidates would unite together and speak up against this terrible news of corruption in the administrative system. But unfortunately, these people seem to only care about their personal exam preparation and not the big picture of corruption in our nation. Even NEET candidates who raised their voice against their corrupt system have more morals, ethics and character than these UPSC candidates.

That is for foundation students. These targets are for people who have given prelims atleast once with good preparation.

Hllw...I am hemangini...I followed ur prelims daily tracker and able to cover syllabus of prelims..it helps me allot...but can't able to clear it because I resigned my job and it's just a year I am preparing srsly...I need to confess this bcoz ur my doctor after knowing my situation u will diagnose me properly...
Currently I cleared govt law entrance exam and persuing LLB as a backup option..it's hectic bcoz the semester is always clashing to my upsc and opsc exams..I need a year more to complete mains and pre ready..my classes wer 10to 1..after that making it as 10hr per day is difficult...can u suggest me some smart work or can I talk to u one to one for 2min...isse zyada pakka lamba nai karungi conversation.

Bcoz GS 1 will be covered in December-janaury next year close to prelims.
GS 4 may be not tough but is lengthy and dynamic as compared to other papers.
You must prepare it with all examples , case studies for next year so that when you clear prelims , so you don't need to spend more time here and can prepare well for optional and other papers.
While covering GS4 now , you are given time for covering your optional also.
Just go with this plan and cover your syllabus.

If we read ethics first then we will understand current affairs better + be able to pick right case study and examples.
And during December - January we will be more worried about prelims so it's bad Idea to study ethics that time with a diverted mind.

Also sir, according to the planned schedule the content reading days are allotted as such that two readings could be done atmost, one during content reading days and one during answer writing plus we have to write answers too. How will 3 readings approach work as you said only after 2nd reading are we supposed to make notes. Adding to that you have given the target to write synopsis on the very first day only
