99th annual Pony Swim on Chincoteague draws thousands

Next year (2025) will be the 100th annual Pony Swim. We hope to be there. We went in 2023 and it's the best place to be! (Take lots of mosquito repellent and sunscreen cream!) Plan to get to the (Chincoteague) island the day before. On the Pony Swim Wednesday, traffic on the island is too much! This year we are planning to go in August to just enjoy the awesome beach in Assateague and see the ponies on Assateague (yes it's possible but from a distance on your side of the fence).🥰
