beautiful, and amazing attention to detail. i`d love to see a colored version of this character, he would look amazing in purple/black with blue and white fire/smoke
Always incredible… Just amazing, I'm curious Wylie… from the time you first conceive of an idea… to the finished version… how many times would you say you draw the piece ?
Excuse me. I need to go lay in a river and contemplate your brilliance. But first, might I ask what this amazing brown paper you're using is? It's not warping and therefore my mind is warping. Brilliant work. Absolutely fantastic.
@@FyreHeartStudios She does! She has a post about how she stretches her paper to prep it for painting. Patrons have access to all that stuff! It's worth it to back her to see way more in depth stuff :)
@@TawnyFritz WELL HEY TAWNY! (It's anna_cs_art if you didn't know.) Also good to know! I may definitely have to do that when I can afford it! I would love to know more. She does incredible work.
Your skilled enough to present meaning. What meaning does your artwork convey? There is nothing wrong with cool artwork that makes people happy and evokes emotion. However, you'll seek a deeper purpose with your existence than to simply be an entertainment puppet for the masses. What message is worthy to you? What is the meaning of all this? I don't believe it is found in the subject matter, but in the suggestiveness of the subjects being presented. An elephant reaching for thorns can say as much as mother Teresa holding a dying child. So... What is your "worthy goal"? Great production work, video and art.
@Kelly Ramirez That makes sense. I guess Im seeking artwork that questions the purpose or meaning of sin or virtue. The meaning of life in general. Portraying them from the artists interpretation is subject matter. Im saying that the subject is irrelevant. The most powerful artwork questions the motives of the subjects. In other words..., Don't paint the sin, but paint the meaning of sin. Dig deeper into purpose, not the face, but the mechanics and motivations behind the face. Painting sin and virtue and symbolizing them using iconography is simply the face. The artist is skilled enough to paint more than a face, if the artist seeks to further their craft and effect on the world, they should paint why the face even is. Not suggesting its easy, as my statement is as vague as beige, but the qualia of meaning is buried in intention.
@@Reach3DPrinters Did you come into Wylie's comments to mansplain to her about her own art? Really? Her art has super deep meaning if you actually take the time to look past the surface. You're gonna critique a whole body of work based on one timelapse of one piece, which is one in a larger set? Yikes my man.
@@TawnyFritz Mansplain? How did you extrapolate that I was telling her what her art means? I was ASKING the artist what meaning or purpose is being conveyed. I posted the question from an artist to an artist, to further understand the artist, perhaps offer a question that hadn't been considered. Ive tattooed realism professionally for 15 years, and Ive seen 10's of 1000s of designs, from ever style that has emerged in the last 20 years. Ive seen great works and studied theory from fine art masters like Casey Baugh and Kit King. I am qualified to critique this work, but have NOT critiqued, instead I pose a deep philosophical question to the artist. Your comment explains your mindset very well, yikes "man".
i absolutely love your remarkable style, reminds me good old Alphonse Mucha, very well done
