- In this episode we hop on a premier bus to head off to Baler Aurora! This one is special because it is our first time travelling with our little furbaby, Milka 🐾 we can't believe how convenient it was to travel with her by bus. We went on Genesis Joybus, the terminal was in Cubao and it was a very comfortable ride to Sabang Beach in Baler.
When we got to Baler it was so easy because there were tricycles waiting already. All we had to do was hop on one and we were all set to go to our home for the next 5 days, Akkaw Hometel!

Thank you so much! We actually only bought our ticket going there since we didn’t know when we would be returning. On the way back to Cubao, we just bought our tickets at the bus station in baler. It was very easy, they have daily trips back to Manila. We bought our ticket home very early morning the same day we left. Hope this helps!
Hello, I came across your video while searching for a pet-friendly bus going to Baler. It's great to hear that you had a positive experience with the same bus we're planning to take for our upcoming trip.
We're curious if they require any pet vaccination records to board the bus. My puppy has completed all the primary vaccines ( 6 in 1, etc.) except for the anti-rabies vaccine since he just turned 4 months old, and it's too early for him to get that shot.
Also, we're figuring out how to get to the bus station since we can't bring our car. Did you guys take a Grab or something? 'Cause I've heard some drivers don't allow pets, and we want to avoid any potential delays it could cause. We'd like to make sure that we arrive on time for our trip.

As for the vaccine card, they required us to bring but they didn’t check there. So better to just have it. They are more strict with dapat naka diaper and may carry case (like the bag we use or something similar)
We went to the bus station by bus. The most convenient way since medj off hours yung time ng baler buses. We had no problems with grab because again, we have the carry case :) some drivers ask that we use the case pero the others are happy with milka just being on our lap. They are just trying. To a ping hair shed for the next passenger after all hehehe

Hi melcar! Glad you liked the video 💜 Wi-Fi is good in Akkaw hometel. Just make sure to let them know you’ll be working remotely. There is one room there na super weak signal kasi. But they do have really good Wi-Fi. As in Kaya mag upload ng UA-cam video with 4k resolution lol. We just got back from there for a second time and they just added barako coffee for guests. Super great for remote work hehehehe. Hope you and you furbabies enjoy your trip! 💜💜💜

do the hotels and surf shops and surfboard rental places promote the movie history of Baler or do some visitors ride a surfboard there unaware they're surfing movie history?
Most are completely unaware of Baler’s history :( I myself did not know about the movie before visiting, we did however learn about it from talking to some of the locals around :)

Hello! as far as I know there are no direct buses from baler to San Juan La Union. There are bus from baler to Baguio, then Baguio to La Union. Personally haven’t tried it but you may want to look into it :)

5 or 6 hours ung trip po? you didn't mention your time arrival in Baler
Roughly 6hrs to Baler :) it really depends on how many stops there are to drop off the passengers in the small towns before Baler :)
