Congratulations on completing the AZBDR! Your videos and commentary are always so interesting. You're right most of it is big bike friendly with some challenging sections that are optional, however the rock gardens in Section 4 are part of the main route, so good to know that. If you like rocks, the AZBDR is for you!
One heck of a trip right there. You are exactly right about having to break up the BDR's. Most of us normal people can't take off enough time or save the amount of $$$ to complete one of these trips in one shot. It took me 2 trips for both the NMBDR and UTBDR. I am hoping to get out to the AZBDR next year. I have the time off but the $$$ will be the hard part. I'm in Houston Tx so just budgeting the fuel for my diesel truck there and back is quite expensive alone.
