- There's a lot of "how to be successful" content out there already but I don't think there's enough on "how to be successful while staying true to yourself."
This week, we have Patrick, one of my closest friends from from college (we graduated sitting next to each other!), sharing how he discovered his "why" and purpose: Love and Be Loved, Inspire Others.
These two values have guided him to join the ranks of the top 1% salespeople at Oracle (one of the world's largest tech companies), land his dream job (at the time), quit his "dream" job, travel the world, fall in love, find himself, and start a matcha and productivity app building company.

I just LOVE his story and the way he tells it. He was basically the underdog at every endeavour, and he started from square 0 pretty much, and it's so easy to stop believing in yourself and lose your self worth when you're in such a position over and over, but he always had faith in himself and confidence in his abilities and its what helped him succeed...ah its so so inspiring ❤

Rowena, I recently discovered your channel, and it's been encouraging me to get out of my comfort zone.
I originally was studying in the healthcare field, but realized it wasn't for me during grad school, so I dropped out. I'm aspiring to be a watercolorist, comic artist, asmrtist, and writer, but I often struggle with the lack of structure. I've been without stable work for a year because of my social anxiety and self-limiting fears, but I think your heart-to-heart conversations are challenging me to take risks, so thank you! :)

I resonate SO WELL with his comments especially the one about not being confined to the structures of the world and others' idea of you, and I'm glad that he could share that thought with others :') Hearing it come out of his mouth made it more valid to me! I actually bullet pointed his ideas in a notebook PATRICK DANG PLS WRITE A BOOK.
