I been all over the country and my ex got so poorly told he has to go on drip and starves when he was feeling much better was no good except dry plan toast or plan bread

Liv I had it in uni too! It was awful. Make sure you drink LOTS of fluids. Even if you think you are. I thought I was but ended up at the hospital dehydrated. I hope you feel better soon! ♥️
Where is uni at? I live in Iowa and there is a uni college here
Mono/EBV is what gave me a chronic illness at 16...Never recovered after that, so definitely rest and stop doing physical activities. Mono takes many weeks for symptoms to show, so she contracted it a month or more ago.

She’s got a lot of energy for mono!!! I’ve had strep with a negative rapid strep. I am a 3rd year med student and Katie cracks me up pretending to do surgery lol. Surgeons are the best of the best students man. 15+ years of school & training after high school. No life the entire time and work 5am-7pm at least. I hated my surgery rotation!
I had mono! High protein diet and smoothies helped me gain more energy when it was active! So sorry you have it too
Please listen to your body with mono (we call it Pfeiffer in the Netherlands lol). You can get sick/extremely tired for a very long time (Months or years) and it is no joke.
Rest a lot, don’t shake anything because it is reaaaally contagious and again, listen to your body, please! 2 days at home from school is interesting. You will have good days and bad days so you wouldn’t know what days you could go to school.
I hope you are not gonna feel worse than this and you feel better soon!

Mono is super draining and painful so I’m shocked how much energy she still had
She just started to show the symptoms. I have a feeling it'll get tougher in the next few days. Well, these vlogs are like 2 weeks behind so she's probably already over most of it.
I had mono in high school and ended up missing 3 months of school and losing over 20 lbs due to sleeping all the time and not being able to eat for more than half the time I was sick.
Same here! I had it at the very start of uni when I was 18 and had to defer and start the next year, was sick for 3 months. I remember getting out of bed to watch tv and having to go back to sleep again because even sitting up on the couch was tiring, yuck!
I felt when Katie went 😙💨 to Ryan’s candles bc my sister has done that to me since I was five😂

I hope you feel better, Katie. Mono is never fun to have. Unfortunately my brother passed away from complications from mono, which is extremely rare. I was scared when I got it, the same age as he got it. But clearly I was fine and you will be too! Rest up and feel better!!!!

Zoey Mcilwain One time I was sick with a stomach bug and everything made me want to through up. That happened to be the day that bratayley posted a video call eating boggers (or something idk). It was when Annie and her friends were taking marshmallow fluff and adding green food coloring to it and eating it. I couldn’t!!! I know how you feel!!!

Mia R there was one time I had a viral infection and the sight of food made me want to throw up and I’m not sure if you know what wakakiri is but It’s a story thing where you tell a story through dance but I fainted there and I had to have paramedics look at me 😂

I know this video is old but I just wanted to comment and say how amazing it was to hear Katie talk about how she used to be afraid of throwing up. I have this phobia too and sometimes it can be hard to live life normally without anxiety. To see someone as successful and amazing as Katie say that she dealt with this too gives me so much hope that I will be as outgoing and successful someday

Mono can cause issues with your spleen as well. I was not allowed to lift anything heavier then a mug.

My sister just got mono too. Apparently, a lot of kids at our high school get it at the end of the year. But as soon as I heard Katie's voice in the beginning, I knew it was mono.
